no, they went on to commit the child sex crimes afterwards

emboldened by and perhaps in emulation of their benefactor
Ah, the pardon of people that were politically prosecuted for alleged crimes having nothing to do with child sexual assault. I guess you expected the President to invoke some "Minority Report" that knew what these people were going to do. Let me know if he tries to get them out of jail for these crimes.

I'm glad they're back behind bars. If Democrats hadn't politically prosecuted so many people, things like this wouldn't happen.

How concerned are you about the number if illegal immigrants that were released into the country to rape, rob, kill, and maim Americans, during the Biden administration. How concerned are you about whether or not any of the 4,245 acts of clemency (90 of which were full pardons) have resulted in any recidivism?

So I'll know how to "put you down." You're fucking hilarious.

Oath Keeper J6er Dan Wilson get re-pardoned by Trump

President Donald Trump has — for the second time — pardoned Dan Wilson (https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/26281001-rotateddan-edwin-wilson-pardon-signed-111425-1/), a militia member who joined the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021 (https://www.justice.gov/usao-dc/pr/kentucky-man-sentenced-five-years-prison-felony-conspiracy-charge-actions-during-jan-6) and was also convicted of illegally possessing firearms in his Kentucky home.

Trump had already erased Wilson’s felony conviction for his role in the riot when he issued his Inauguration Day pardon for all of the participants in the attack. But Wilson was one of a handful of Jan. 6 defendants who remained incarcerated for other federal crimes. He was due to be released from prison in 2028.

Trump’s new “full and unconditional” pardon, dated Nov. 14, explicitly references (https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/68537541/united-states-v-wilson/) Wilson’s firearms case, which ended with him pleading guilty (https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.dcd.268659/gov.uscourts.dcd.268659.4.0.pdf) to two felony gun offenses. Wilson, who has identified himself as a member of the Oath Keepers and Gray Ghost Partisan Rangers militia, had also pleaded guilty for his conduct on Jan. 6, which included a charge of conspiring to impede or injure a federal officer. U.S. District Judge Dabney Friedrich, a Trump appointee, sentenced Wilson to five years in prison, a sentence that began shortly before Trump took office.

“Dan Wilson is a good man. After more than 7 months of unjustified imprisonment, he is relieved to be home with his loved ones,” said Wilson’s attorneys, George Pallas and Carol Stewart, in a statement to POLITICO. “This act of mercy not only restores his freedom but also shines a light on the overreach that has divided this nation.”

In February, the Trump administration argued that Trump’s pardon did not cover Wilson’s firearms conviction, saying it was unrelated to the Jan. 6 attack. But within weeks, the Justice Department reversed course (https://www.politico.com/news/2025/02/26/trump-january-6-pardon-judge-00206301), saying it had reconsidered and believed the pardon should apply to Wilson’s gun crimes because they were discovered during an FBI search related to the riot.

Friedrich sharply rejected (https://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/25560999/wilsonord031325.pdf) the administration’s shifting position, saying it had stretched the bounds of Trump’s pardon too far. She noted the Justice Department had taken inconsistent positions in other cases across the country. Trump, she said, could always issue a second pardon to cover the firearms offenses. An appeals court later backed her up (https://www.politico.com/news/2025/04/02/appeals-court-trump-pardon-plainly-did-not-cover-jan-6-defendants-unrelated-crimes-00267770), requiring Wilson to remain in prison while he appealed Friedrich’s ruling.
The Justice Department declined to comment on the new pardon. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro had previously indicated her office would not defend Wilson’s continued incarceration during the appeal.

A White House official, speaking on condition of anonymity to describe the reasoning behind the president’s pardon, said the discovery of “unauthorized firearms” would not have happened without the broader Jan. 6 investigation.

Wilson pleaded guilty (https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.dcd.262730/gov.uscourts.dcd.262730.56.0.pdf) in May 2024 to three separate crimes: one charge of conspiracy to impede or injure an officer, for his conduct at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021; and two gun charges related to conduct in Kentucky in 2023, when his home was searched as part of the investigation into the Capitol riot.

President autopen strikes again

The Justice Department posted pardons online bearing identical copies of President Donald Trump’s signature before quietly correcting them this week after what the agency called a “technical error.”

The replacements came after online commenters seized on striking similarities in the president’s signature across a series of pardons dated Nov. 7, including those granted to former New York Mets player Darryl Strawberry (https://apnews.com/television-fc6318ff6f3d4133890956a7576999e6), former Tennessee House speaker Glen Casada and former New York police sergeant Michael McMahon. In fact, the signatures on several pardons initially uploaded to the Justice Department’s website were identical, two forensic document experts confirmed to The Associated Press.

Trump sure can pick em

A pardoned January 6 rioter has been charged with sex crimes against two children. Andrew Paul Johnson was arraigned in a Florida court in October on multiple charges, including molesting a child as young as 11 years old, joining a growing list of Capitol rioters pardoned by President Trump who now face new legal trouble.

Johnson dangled the prospect that one of the children could receive money because, Johnson claimed, he was entitled to $10 million dollars as part of reparations for his January 6 arrest, according to a police report (https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/26285140-andrew-johnson-april-2025-arrest-affidavit-from-herndon-county-flordia-sheriffs-office-detecitve-12/) from a Hernando County, Florida, Sheriff’s Department detective.

Those convicted and later pardoned for involvement in the Jan. 6 riot have not been rewarded any reparations, though Trump (https://www.politico.com/news/2025/03/25/trump-floats-possibility-of-compensation-for-jan-6-rioters-00250063) and January 6 rioters (https://www.nytimes.com/2025/08/31/us/politics/trump-jan-6-rioters-compensation.html) have floated the idea of a compensation fund.

Johnson said he would be put the victim in his will to receive any of the money left after his death. Police believed this was done to keep the child from “exposing what Andrew had done,” according to the arrest report, which was filed in court.

Johnson faces two criminal cases in county court, one for each child. In one case, he has been charged with lewd or lascivious molestation of a child under the age of 12. In the other case, he faces a charge of lewd or lascivious behavior to a child under the age of 16, transmitting harmful information to minors, and exhibition with a victim under the age of 16.

President Donald Trump said Friday he intends to grant a “full and complete pardon” to former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández, a move that would erase a major US drug-trafficking conviction for a onetime US ally who is currently serving a 45-year federal prison sentence.

“I will be granting a Full and Complete Pardon to Former President Juan Orlando Hernandez who has been, according to many people that I greatly respect, treated very harshly and unfairly,” Trump announced on his Truth Social platform.

Trump Frees Fraudster Just Days Into Seven-Year Prison Sentence

President Trump has set free a private equity executive who had served less than two weeks of a seven-year sentence for his role in what prosecutors described as a $1.6 billion scheme that defrauded thousands of victims.

David Gentile, 59, a onetime resident of Nassau County, N.Y., had reported to prison on Nov. 14, and was released on Wednesday, according to Bureau of Prisons records and a White House official who was not authorized to discuss the matter.

Mr. Gentile and a co-defendant, Jeffry Schneider, were convicted in August 2024 of securities and wire fraud charges, and sentenced in May. Unlike a pardon, the commutation granted to Mr. Gentile will not erase his conviction.

Mr. Schneider, who was sentenced to six years, does not appear to have received clemency from Mr. Trump.

In a social media post on Thanksgiving, Alice Marie Johnson, Mr. Trump’s “pardon czar,” said she was “deeply grateful to see David Gentile heading home to his young children.”

Mr. Trump has used the unfettered presidential clemency power to forgive an array of white-collar crimes and to make political points, including by casting prosecutions of his supporters as corrupt witch hunts like those that he claims had targeted him.

stole from a charity for murdered police officers to pay for plastic surgery, rent and a wedding

pardoned by Donald Trump

she was investigated by the FBI, indicted by a federal grand jury and represented during a weeklong trial by competent counsel. She was tried by a judge and convicted by a jury. Dozens of witnesses testified against her, including Gov. Joe Lombardo. The former Clark County sheriff contributed $5,000 to a fund he believed would be used to construct a statue honoring Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officer Alyn Beck, who, in 2014, was murdered in the line of duty along with his partner Igor Soldo.

Instead, the prosecution showed, during six months in 2019 and 2020 then-Las Vegas City Councilwoman Fiore used $70,000 of the memorial construction donations for personal use that included paying for rent, plastic surgery and her daughter’s wedding. At trial, an FBI agent testified that Lombardo’s $5,000 intended contribution was transferred into a Fiore family member’s account and ended up being used for rent.

Philip Esformes (https://www.cnbc.com/2024/02/01/trump-clemency-recipient-philip-esformes-has-medicare-plea-deal.html), whose 20-year prison sentence for a massive, $1.3 billion Medicare fraud scheme was commuted (https://www.cnbc.com/2023/12/15/trump-clemency-recipient-philip-esformes-loses-supreme-court-bid.html) in 2020 by then-President Donald Trump (https://www.cnbc.com/donald-trump/), was arrested over the weekend in Florida on domestic-violence related charges.

Esformes is at least the seventh person who received executive clemency from Trump, and has since been charged with new crimes, according to The New York Times (https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/14/us/politics/philip-esformes-trump-clemency-recipient-new-charges.html), which first reported this latest arrest.

The DOJ said that Esformes and co-conspirators for more than two decades cycled thousands of Medicare and Medicaid patients through a network of nursing and assisted living facilities despite the fact they did not qualify for such care.https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna175681

pardoned campaign funds embezzler Duncan Hunter lobbies for a pardon for a Republican CSAM fancier

Today, Duncan D. Hunter and Raymond Liddy are both convicted felons, and the former congressman is lobbying President Donald Trump to pardon Liddy, who is the son of a notorious Watergate figure (https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/2012/11/30/us-government-releases-once-secret-watergate-files/) and was convicted of possessing child pornography.

According to a federal disclosure (https://lda.senate.gov/filings/public/filing/825867cf-98dd-4ccf-b52b-84bff0200ca9/print/) filed late last year, Hunter is working to secure a pardon for the son of G. Gordon Liddy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G._Gordon_Liddy), who went to prison for overseeing the break-in of Democratic Party headquarters at the Watergate Hotel and other crimes that drove Richard Nixon from the White House.

The lobbying report was submitted by Tommy Marquez, chief executive officer at Tommy Marquez Consulting (https://tommymarquezconsulting.com/), a government affairs firm based in Grapevine, Texas. Marquez listed Hunter as a consultant to his company.

The single-page document shows that Marquez and Hunter are seeking a presidential pardon for Liddy, who was convicted (https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/2020/02/05/former-state-prosecutor-convicted-of-child-porn-charge/) in 2020 of possessing child pornography.

Neither Hunter, Marquez nor Liddy responded to requests for comment on the lobbying efforts, which were disclosed in a federally required filing dated Nov. 6.

Liddy, who is 62 and lives in a $6 million home in Coronado, was sentenced to five years of probation (https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/2020/09/02/former-state-prosecutor-gets-probation-in-child-porn-case/) following his criminal conviction in a bench trial, which means the case was decided by a judge rather than a jury.

He also lost his job at the California Department of Justice and was disbarred (https://apps.calbar.ca.gov/attorney/Licensee/Detail/171343).

In a 2021 appeal, Liddy’s attorneys argued the judge had made reversible errors in allowing certain evidence. They said Liddy was wrongly convicted and never downloaded the images at issue.

The appeal was rejected.

Federal court records in Tennessee show Liddy violated his probation in 2023 and was sent to prison.

Among the violations, records show (https://ia800307.us.archive.org/22/items/gov.uscourts.tned.109644/gov.uscourts.tned.109644.1.0.pdf), Liddy was arrested for drunken driving in South San Diego County in 2021. According to court records, he threatened his probation officer, called her a racial slur and repeatedly abused drugs and alcohol.
“Both Mr. Liddy and his wife, Courtney Liddy, continued calling (the officer) obscene names to include ‘b—’ and ‘mother—’ as well as telling the probation officer to ‘go f— yourself’ and ‘we know where you are n— and we will find and kill you,’” the May 9, 2023, warrant petition says.

worst man in the world pardons the worst people in the world

On Thursday, President Donald Trump signed a “full and unconditional pardon” for Diamond Environmental Services owner Arie Eric De Jong III, who was sentenced (https://apnews.com/general-news-469cd96b711a40c6b6709adfc924e1d1) in 2018 to five months in prison for illegally dumping raw sewage into municipal sewer systems.

According to prosecutors, the portable toilet company unlawfully dumped waste from its trucks into public sewer systems across several Southern California cities, including San Diego, San Marcos, Fullerton, Perris, and Huntington Park, rather than disposing of it at approved facilities and paying the required fees, allowing De Jong III to dodge millions in expenses.

Per a copy of the pardon posted by The New York Times’ Kenneth Vogel, Trump cleared De Jong III of all felony charges against the United States, to all of which he had pleaded guilty under a 2017 agreement.

Trump loves rich crooks who suck up to him

In this case, a crypto dude who renounced his US citizenship to evade taxes got DOJ to drop charges and settle

Days into President Donald Trump’s second term in the White House, a cryptocurrency billionaire posted a video on X (https://x.com/rogerkver/status/1883521344341750175) to his hundreds of thousands of followers. “Please Donald Trump, I need your help,” he said, wearing a flag pin askew and seated awkwardly in an armchair. “I am an American. … Help me come home.”

The speaker, 46-year-old Roger Ver, was in fact no longer a U.S. citizen. Nicknamed “Bitcoin Jesus” for his early evangelism for digital currency, Ver had renounced his citizenship more than a decade earlier. At the time of his video, Ver was under criminal indictment for millions in tax evasion and living on the Spanish island of Mallorca. His top-flight legal defense team had failed around half a dozen times to persuade the Justice Department to back down. The U.S., considering him a fugitive, was seeking his extradition from Spain, and he was likely looking at prison.

Once, prosecutors hoped to make Ver a marquee example amid concerns about widespread cryptocurrency tax evasion. They had spent eight painstaking years working the case. Just nine months after his direct-to-camera appeal, however, Ver and Trump’s new Justice Department leadership cut a remarkable deal to end his prosecution. Ver wouldn’t have to plead guilty or spend a day in prison. Instead, the government accepted a payout of $49.9 million — roughly the size of the tax bill prosecutors said he dodged in the first place — and allowed him to walk away.

Ver was able to pull off this coup by taking advantage of a new dynamic inside of Trump’s Department of Justice. A cottage industry of lawyers, lobbyists and consultants with close ties to Trump has sprung up to help people and companies seek leniency, often by arguing they had been victims of political persecution by the Biden administration. In his first year, Trump issued pardons or clemency to dozens of people who were convicted of various forms of white-collar crime, including major donors (https://abcnews.go.com/US/trumps-flurry-pardons-include-campaign-contributors/story?id=122313284) and political allies (https://www.npr.org/2025/02/10/g-s1-47817/trump-pardon-rod-blagojevich-illinois-corruption). Investigations have been halted. Cases have been dropped. (https://www.cnbc.com/2025/07/30/doj-drops-charges-against-fat-brands-andy-wiederhorn.html)

Within the Justice Department, a select club of Trump’s former personal attorneys have easy access to the top appointees, some of whom also previously represented Trump. It has become a dark joke among career prosecutors to refer to these lawyers as the “Friends of Trump.”

Another J6 rioter pardoned by Trump subsequently sexually abused children

I think we're up to five or six cases like this now

On Tuesday, a jury in Hernando County, Fla., found Andrew Paul Johnson guilty of five charges, including molesting a child under 12 and another under 16, as well as lewd and lascivious exhibition. Johnson was acquitted of one charge of sending sexual material to a child.https://www.npr.org/2026/02/11/nx-s1-5711294/trump-jan-6-pardons-child-sex-abuse

That is insane: "Biden’s pardons eliminated roughly $680,000 in financial penalties owed to victims or the government. In contrast, Trump’s second-term pardons have forgiven criminal debts of more than $1.5 billion." www.cato.org/blog/embarra... violent J6 sshole charged with sexual assault and kidnapping

(not pardoned by Trump, J6 charges were dropped)

A U.S. Capitol riot defendant who was accused of firing a gun into the air (https://www.cbsnews.com/chicago/news/john-banuelos-charged-firing-gun-capitol-insurrection/)while among the mob on Capitol grounds on January 6, 2021, now faces charges of sexual assault and kidnapping in Utah.
Prosecutors allege John Banuelos, 40, attacked a woman in the Salt Lake City area in 2018, three years prior to his alleged involvement in the Capitol siege, according to court filings obtained by CBS News.
A DNA test conducted in August linked Banuelos to the 2018 sex assault, prosecutors allege in a charging document filed in Utah.

Banuelos' charges in his U.S. Capitol riot case were dismissed and he was released from custody in January 2025, after President Trump granted clemency (https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-pardons-jan-6-district-court-judges/) to the more than 1,500 people convicted of charges stemming from the Capitol attack. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/high-profile-us-capitol-riot-defendant-facing-charges-of-kidnapping-and-sexually-assaulting-woman/

pardoned GOP fundraiser gets DOJ contract

The day before Donald Trump (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/donaldtrump)’s first term ended in 2021, he inked a pardon for Elliott Broidy, a scandal-plagued Republican fundraiser and former Republican National Committee official who had pleaded guilty three months earlier to trying to illegally lobby Trump and his administration.

Last month, a company headed by Broidy won a $106m contract from the Department of Justice, according to federal contracting records.

Under the contract, awarded by the Bureau of Prisons to LEO Technologies, the company will use artificial intelligence to translate, transcribe and monitor prison phone calls. Broidy lists himself (https://elliottbroidy.com/) as the founder and CEO of LEO.

Just before Trump’s 2020 election loss, Broidy pleaded guilty to taking $9m in payments from a foreign national to try to lobby Trump and Trump’s justice department to end a criminal case and to push for the extradition of a Chinese businessman.

Trump’s own justice department at the time wrote that “Broidy agreed to lobby the President of the United States, the Attorney General, and other high level officials in the Administration and the Department of Justice”.
