Padres with a big splash landing Snell. Hopefully they also sign Bauer to fortify the rotation further.

Tbf, he was pretty good last year. Even in his lone playoff appearance, just didn't get any run support whatsoever.

Oh yah. Significant pieces walking away and only desperate individuals like Dusty Baker willing to come on board. Slow steady decline is the worst kind to stomach too.

The Ozuna signing is very very good. AA finally makes his signature long term signing and isn't even that pricy. Based on bitch certificate younger than Springer!

Salary increases with assumed DH addition next season but still good price.

Possibly played with fire waiting this long in Free Agency but played it RIGHT. Seems that 4th year was the deal maker. Props to Ozuna for not being a greedy bastard.

Braves offense projection jumps from 16th to around 7th.

We are just a classic lead off hitter away now. Hopefully Waters can develop into one this season in the minors.

Back from the old Spurstalk vacation. You guys really stepped up in FA this season. The Bauer signing stole a lot of thunder from what the Padres accomplished, but it's baseball. Nothing is guaranteed and the NL West should be a dogfight between the Dads and Doyers.

With Spring Training beginning, this thread is coming to a close

Padres seem to be the biggest media winners - ranked #2 in the NLCS
Dodgers got stronger in many peoples minds
Braves made their first long term FA commitment but are filled with more youth


And that's just the National League. Maybe someone else can handle the DH League.
