I loved the San Antonio Dodgers as a kid. So when many of them moved up to the big leagues, I followed them. Fernando Valenzuela is one of my favorite pitchers of all time. I am not an LA Dodger fan, though I rooted for them against the A's and they delivered. Kirk's blast will always be epic. I was always a fan of Lasorda. He had an "I don't give a shit what you think of me" attitude. He spoke his mind freely and you knew what you were getting with him. He was also pretty down to earth, like he could be your next door neighbor, or the guy running the local business down the street. He will be heavily missed by fans of the diamond. Rest in Peace Tommy.
