Game Thread: Spurs at Timberwolves — Jan. 9, 2021 - 7pm CT

After sweeping the two teams in sunny Los Angeles, the Spurs continue their road-trip and travel to colder climates for a weekend back-to-back in Minnesota.

The Spurs currently find themselves in the 8th spot, but are also locked in with four other teams sitting at a 4-4 record in this early season.

Meanwhile, The Timberwolves continue to face harsh times and are currently sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference standings with only two wins.

As great as it is to send both Kawhi and LeBron home with losses, the team needs to stay focused if they want to continue to compete for a playoff spot. This is technically a game that San Antonio should win on paper, and the schedule doesn't get any easier with games against Houston, Portland, Golden State, and Dallas looming in the next couple weeks.

Let's hope they take this opponent seriously and can extend this win streak to three.

yea we don't do a lot of oops, unless it's the Aldridge curls to the rim and White throws him the lob play. We used to run that for nephew a lot too. They should run that for Lonnie every now and then
