Works for me. We need to continually gain seats in the senate until we have a super majority. The GOP doesn’t seem to care that they have lost 4 senate seats since 2018.

Beyond that, the authorities may have to step in because the Republican Party is basically a hostile entity not unlike what Russia, China, NK are actively doing to to foment discord in this country.

Even putting the senate aside, if the GOP ever loses Texas, it would need to fundamentally change as a party to remain competitive.

They don’t really need a super majority in the senate imo. If Gideon and Dick Pics Cunningham didn’t fuck up, the filibuster would be gone by now. I’m also of the belief that if the Democrats ever had an unchecked ability to implement an agenda as progressive as Biden’s, it would fundamentally change things the way FDR did where a new Republican coming in wouldn’t be able to just unwind stuff like a public option or a $15 min wage.
