Well, I can understand if the customer is stationary when being served. But moving cars and hot liquid aren't a good equation, no matter how much common sense you employ.

IIRC, McDonald's coffee was served far hotter than most coffee makers brew at, so its not just hot coffee out of a Mr. Coffee pot, its brewed in commercial-grade coffee makers. hot enough it burned the old lady awful burns that necessitated skin grafts and whatnot.

And, apparently, there were several, several documented reports and McDonald's didn't do anything til it bit them in the ass. The old lady was right to sue.

That lawsuit is probably a major reason products like gorilla glue have big warnings right on the front of the label.

No. Hair is not skin. Hair follicles are their own organs, and reside in the dermal layer of the skin, they're not the dermal layer of the skin.

There's plenty of skin areas in our bodies that do not have hair follicles.
