To some extent, sure. I don't think he wrote it or did storyboards though. I would guess he had no involvement between the stages of "Hey we should do some PSA's for the vaccine" and tweeting the final product.
Do you think Mario Cuomo (or whoever in his office oversaw this campaign) should tell the guy from Run DMC and his Hip Hop Health production crew that the video they made comes off as racist?

Cuomo has been preaching for weeks on 'social equity' and coming to some sort of solution on getting minorities to accept the vaccine.
I don't think he wrote and produced it, but he has his connections in NY, obviously.

The point of the video in the first place is because the black community is hesitent to take the vaccine for whatever reason. If whites had the same problem, there would probably be a push for them to take it as well.
BTW, hispanics are the same way. They're iffy on taking it but most people I know have come around and said would take it if given the chance.

So your issue is that it's animated instead of with actual people? Pandemic, money saving, more convinient.
