did you learn how to read in school? I never said we can get Turner for Aldridge. I said put Turner on this team and they would have a chance to beat anybody in the West. This team hasn't even reached it's ceiling yet

Makes you sound even dumber.

"Imagine adding a player that we can't acquire...."

And even stupider with the take of going to the Finals by adding Turner...:lmao:lmao:lmao:lmao

As if LeBron & Nephew are scared of him....:lol:lol:lol

16-11. Who would have fucking imagined?????

21-24 through the remaining 45 gives you a winning record

Derrick White is a good player.

Starting backcourt with 0 turnovers for second consecutive game. Just nuts...
51 pts, 14 rebs, 10 assists, 6 steals and 0 turnovers

Also definitely need a Joe Ingles/Harris type of dudes who can blow up for five or six threes.

Some of us just don't think we're ONLY 1 piece away from being a Finals team.

A piece that isn't an all - star (or close) or significantly better than our current starting center, IMO.

I could see if he said Davis, Giannis or Bam in his imaginary (straight from NBA 2K21), one player away assessment of the current team.

Murray is 24, White is 26. Our backcourt is set for the next 10 years. Probably safe to get either of these guys' jerseys.

Exactly but even then, that would take us to the WCF at best. Our young guys are still learning how to win and show consistency. Baby steps but they seem to be trending in the right direction. We're not making any trades any ways so the hope is these kids continue to grow and hope the offseason brings forth an actual plan to be a contender.

Turner is the front runner for DPOY

Depends alot on the one piece. Find a Minnesota Garnett or a young DRob, give that mobile center a say 37% three-ball as well and yeah that guy would take nearly any roster of nba players to the finals.

Turner is the front runner for DPOY

Again, he's an elite defender but the gap between him & Poeltl defensively isn't that wide, IMO. Jakob is a near elite defender himself and a better 3/4 - who can allow Keldon to slide to the 3 full - time - is what the team needs. Again, someone more akeen to the size and skillset of Antetokounmpo, Davis or Bam.

Unfortunately, those type of players are rarely available and you gotta give up a king's ransom to acquire them.

The three players (Bam, Giannis & Anthony) in today's NBA that closely mimic that archetype aren't coming to San Antonio or becoming available.

Gotta figure something else out or possibly draft someone that could potentially reach that level.

Let's let Samanic sniff regular NBA minutes and see if he has a chance to be it.

Spurs worked their magic on three fucking #29 picks, let's see if they can make it four on their #19th pick. If they do, they're just simply fucking geniuses.

I only managed to catch the last quarter and I have almost no complaints about Pop, I think he has coached wonderfully this season - but pulling White at the end for anyone (happened to be Mills) was so fucking stupid, smh.

Keldon, Devin, and Lonnie in the development pipeline coming through strong.

Just need to draft/snag the next Myles Turner style big man.

I like Lonnie a lot. People on this board expect way too much way too soon. Walker is still developing but is flashing great skills already. If he can become a consistent threat off the bench, snag some confidence, he could be a lethal secondary punch for us.

Impressive win by the Spurs ... the cold shooting in the first quarter got me worried but everybody played better from the second quarter onwards ... even Lonnie has turned the corner and I hope he regains confidence against other teams benches. Vassells playing time is suffering ...

Memphis is well-coached and has a well-constructed roster. They pose problems without JJJ. With him, they’re potentially scary good. Do not want to see them in playoffs.

Remember this is mostly without Towns. They’re 3-4 with him. The west is so much better than the east right now.

Yeah, most of the picks Boston has are through the product of being bad, which most are advocating for. Either way, Boston selected those guys. There's a difference between selecting your guy vs getting the best guy available through trade/FA.

Totally agree. Just found it funny for a team that hasn’t picked better than 11th (and outside of that 18th). You don’t become good by picking high. You become and remain good by picking well. And where the Spurs usually pick, those guys are super cost controlled for four years.

Boston is very weird. Tatum and Brown have both been very good, and Pritchard has been nice as a rookie + Williams playing well. Most of rest of roster has been bad, and guys like Teague + Tristan Thompson are clogging the rotation. Luckily being in the east, they don’t have to worry about missing the playoffs.

I have a question about NBA league pass blackouts: you have to wait three days to be able to see it…

I’m sure someone has had to deal with this before, like specifically, is it 72 hours after the game is over? The Charlotte game was Sunday and here it is Wednesday night and I still can’t watch the fucking game on the app…it seems crazy they wouldn’t change these rules during a pandemic when you can’t see most of the games in person anyway.

I have league pass and blackout games are available as soon as the game is over - at least this has been my experience. I also have a VPN and bypass most blackouts if I want to watch the games in real-time.

Interesting. There seem to be different rules based on various factors for how long the blackout lasts. Thanks.

Supposed to be:
Nationally televised = 3 hours after the game
Locally televised = 3 days (ridiculous, no one is going to wait 3 days)

I tried a VPN this year and it no longer worked...

Depends on which VPN you use. I’m having a pretty good run using Surfshark. Streaming on laptop and iPhone devices works best. Not so much via smart tv. Not a big deal - I just mirror to the tv.
