It makes sense considering rosters are so top heavy with talent. Maybe this is the next evolution/trend in basketball.

Yep... pretty hilarious that Poeltl & Mills get hammered on spurstalk for their salaries but people want to re-sign DeRozan, who consistently ensures that the starting five have a difficult time outscoring opponents.

Dex & Excastic have mentioned it multiple times, but Pop has always believed in having balanced scoring from both units. It is almost always worked to S.A.'s benefit except for a few times during playoff runs.

I'm leaning more and more towards the team re-signing Patty and going with a three - guard lineup off the bench next season (if Tre Jones is truly ready).

And they'll definitely need to find a suitable replacement for Poeltl off the bench since he clearly deserves to start.
