Teams that are in 7th and 8th will have to have play in games against the 9th and 10th seed. The 7th seed will face the 9th seed and the 8th seed will face the 10th seed. The 7th and 8th seed would have to win only one game in the play in format while the 9th and 10th seed would have to win 2 games.

Currently the Spurs are in 7th and Grizzlies are in 9th which would put the Spurs in a bad situation in a play in scenario since the Grizzlies have owned the Spurs this season. Warriors are also in 10th which is another team the Spurs match up poorly with. Spurs have to get the 6th seed to guarantee a playoff appearance.

I hate to say it but I think your going to start to see us take a Nose Dive in the standings - The schedules is now so much harder we just lost one of our only two bigs and half our guys are trying to get over Covid and get back in basketball shape. Also, there is very little team structure right now on who is playing and what position they are playing and how many minutes they are getting. Players like rhythm and Pop is not offering that right now.
