LMA for Danny Green and Mike Scott works. They do have Dwight Howard kinda filling that role. We know Morey likes making his trades. Maybe get a future pick out of it.

They’re not trading Danny Green and Scott for a two week fix. Morey went to great lengths to place shooters around his two stars, one of which doesn’t shoot a lick.

LMA will be bought out before he’s traded to Philly unfortunately.

...so Spurs chances increase. Good news.

Nah, if he tore his ACL, it'd be good news. Then they'd REALLY need a center like LMA. A bruise means he's only out two weeks. Philly can easily weather the storm for fourteen days.

Two weeks without him could see them fall from first to 4th they may be more desperate than you think depending on how important that first seat is

They don't need LaMarcus, won't gut their roster (dumping shooters for washed up LA?) for a rental & have sort of okay depth at center (Howard, Bradley & Poirier).

Sucks for Embiid cause he was a near lock to win the MVP award & now that goes out the window.

And Poeltl's worst nightmare comes true cause now he has to face a heavy dose of Dwight Howard. He has struggled mightily against Howard over the last few seasons.

He was also terrible against Embiid last year in the bubble.

I remember that but he was primarily a back up last season and got abused/obliterated against the Lakers/Dwight.

I would have love to have seen him against arguably the best center in the NBA (Embiid & Jokic are interchangeable), yet Dwight even as his "lesser" self is a challenge.
