Vassell is a great fit with the starting line up when we're fully healthy, since he's a Danny Green type 3-and-D offball player. Yeah, for sure. I'd counter-argue though: it's not that Curry ruined the sport, he just opened up the floodgates by showing the world how unbalanced the rules were/are and how they can be exploited with enough volume-distance shooting. In retrospect, it's insane that the NBA went so many decades without a 3pt explosion, it was just bound to happen the way the sport is constructed (and reffed). The REAL reason the game was ruined, IMO, isn't Curry, but other players believing they can be Curry, when they have nowhere near the talent or accuracy. No one should be able to jack up the shots that they do, but sadly the stats back it up, and so it goes.

I'm really wondering how many years it will take for the league to step in with some rule changes. My bet is, under 3 years at this current pace. There's no way this 3pt explosion doesn't implode on the league soon.

Was just kidding brother. Spurs are all about that culture. This is why for me, post deadline the team will be most interesting. Shackles will be off. No incentive to play guys who consistently under perform.

I agree that while a trade with Walker included is unlikely, the LMA situation has clouded the water somewhat.
Think to get any kind of useful return, somewhat of a prized asset (young player, pick) will have to be included.
