Apparently during shootaround, Pop asked Lonnie: "What does government mean to you?" and didn't like his response

Probably had a fit when he heard Demar was playing :lol

Why did Lonnie not play tonight? Didn’t catch the game until the 4th

That’s my main take away from tonight. Hope he’s not on the trading block.

Bucks haven't played since Wednesday. Seems like a guaranteed loss tomorrow.

I’m hoping Pop is saving Walker IV for tomorrow’s back to back, but I doubt it. I would rather Mills or Lyles be traded than Walker IV

My god, the Cavs scored 25 points in the last 4:30 of the game, and 18 in the last 2 minutes alone. Disgusting. I'll take the W of course, but damn they tried to choke that one away.

If Poop is smart, that's what he's doing.

Well, a win is a win, right...? Last year's Spurs would've lost this game for sure, this team has so much more pulse, even when they're trying to choke :lol. It's insane how solid a closer Dejounte has become as well, I had zero doubts that he was sinking those FTs at the end. He's special...

I was always told that full court presses rarely worked against NBA players as they were too experienced and would break it down with ease.

Well, it gives Pop something to work on in the film session.

I mean, it wasn't a terrible performance - they managed to hold the fort and draw out the win, without letting the Cavs ever go up, and on the face of the best defensive effort the Cavs had put the entire game. Yeah, they can do better and should practice more playing against presses and zones, but it wasn't nearly as bad as some of the meltdowns they had last season, and that's a step forward imo. Consistently beating the bottom feeding teams is a big mark of a good team, so let's hope they can keep it up.

I'm much more worried about tomorrow's game. Giannis will destroy us, and will be even worse if Luka continues not to get playing time...

Agreed. The amount of peeps piling it on the Spurs during the Philly game...Tomorrow, on Bryn Forbes appreciation night - I can see a starters pulled 3 minutes in type of game :lol

IMO, I think tomorrow's game is going to be forfeited early if it gets out of hand. Moose just played 38 minutes tonight, no way he keeps the same intensity unless he's a madman.

This.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we lose, but the Spurs have beaten the Lakers, Clippers, Nuggets, and other “contenders” this season.

Give them a chance...that’s why they actually play the games.

Guys Milwaukee has a top 5 Off. and a top 10 Def.
They have one of the best in the game - the reigning MVP, two 2nd tier star-ish guys and high level role players.
They have also won 9 of 10 games, a massive point diff. of 7 ppg (2nd in the league behind Utah) and just made a trade that may actually give them an edge in a playoff series against a likely contender.

Will root for my Spurs no matter the opponent.
However, to objectively treat a healthy Milwaukee team as anything but outright favourites in tomorrow’s contest seems disingenuous. They’re one of about 4-5 teams who could win it all this year.
If that’s not a mountain to climb happy to recalibrate my definition.

It's ridiculous that this Spurs team is one Minnesota lose, one Houston lose, and one Memphis split of that horrid B2B, from being 1 game from the 3 seed. And 1.5 games from the 2 seed. That's insane!!
