Holy shit, we took out Purdue. In Indiana. :wow :wow :wow What a game.
Tomorrow it's Villanova. We're going to be big underdogs again, but, this is definitely the best season in our basketball team's modern history.

There's actually a scenario out there where North Texas could be the most legendary Cinderella team in history by beating Baylor, Tech, Houston and Austin in that order to become national champions. Austin knocking off 'Zaga in the final four.
One man can only dream.

It's legit the most excited I've been for college basketball since I was probably like 11 or 12. Circa mid 2000s.

Houston Cougars just need to beat the great Drew Eubanks Oregon State program for its first final four since 1984.
Then an all Texas matchup of Baylor and Houston. Feels like the good old Southwest conference days.
Gonzaga's defense is getting crushed. Hopefully they can make it competitive.

The basketball gods were not pleased with the gushing hype-o-rama of Gonzaga's semi-final win. Baylor clearly was better, but it was apparent that Gonzaga read too much of their own press clippings.
Fuck those clowns.

Congratulations to the first Texas college major sports team to win a national championship since Vince Young's Longhorns in '05-06 :toast

Wow, it’s pretty sad that it took that long but I think you are right at least on the men’s side.

Yeah women's sports definitely aren't "major" and the trannies are only going to make it worse.

I was rooting for Gonzaga but best to not have a 45-year record fall in such a season.
This was the least amount of CBB games I wYched in a season in many years. Glad to see it end. Rivalries and fans are a critical part of College sports. Hopefully they return next season.
