The J&J vaccine is the vaccine for the world. No special storage requirements, only one shot, easily scalable production platform. At $10 a dose it is very affordable by our standards.

So figure $70 billion for the vaccine, then double it to cover the cost of scaling up production quickly, and then double that just for good measure. USA can vaccinate the world for $280 billion.
