Open carry is legal in many states. I travel a lot. I've never seen a civilian open carrying a handgun. Very few people want to be seen carrying a firearm.

The case is about concealed carry, and if states can regulate concealed carry via permits (specifically if conceal carry outside the home is a protected right under the 2nd amendment).

Pretty sure the constitution says you can conceal the powder horn and the lead ball but not the musket itself.

When the founders mentioned “a well regulated militia”, what they meant is any lunatic off the street should be allowed to carry an Ar-15.

gun "rights" have been a disaster for this country. but the NRA, despite bankruptcy, still runs Washington on this issue.

People had more guns in 1940–1960
Guns do not kill people
People who want to use them for bad things will find them in black market
Guns are not destroying the country.
Enforcing laws we have would help the country

LOL, silly talking points.

What laws should be enforced that aren't currently being enforced that would make our country's stats comparable to that of other wealthy western countries???

Sure, eight counts as many.

Semantics. That's "many" for a lot of people, especially the anti-gun crowd.

We're anywhere from 100 to 200x bigger by population than other Western nations of wealth. We're also more spoiled. ducks was onto something, but he's not smart enough to finish connecting the dots.

More ideological, victim filled and raised in busted families too. Those are key for gun violence.

pro-gun is usually pro-police, is usually racist (cops' role to oppress, kill the non-whites), with a gravy of toxic masculinity.

Evangelicals preach men are superior to women, so "extrinsic" guns help men feel superior when intrinsically they can't stand women being smarter, more intelligent, more socialized.

The "home defense" BULLSHIT is really racist "big-dick crazy knitters comin to get me, gotta be armed".

There's like 45 states that allow open carry.
