Predrag Stojakovic: Wants Trade to Chicago?

RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com

Update: Rumors persist that Stojakovic wants a trade to the Bulls or is hoping to sign there as a free agent next summer, the Arlington Daily Herald reports.

Recommendation: Stojakovic may just be using this gambit to drive up his price with the Kings. If he did sign with Chicago, it would give the Bulls a big-time outside threat, opening the low-post up for Tyson Chandler, but the team would then need to figure out where they would play Luol Demg.

Peja has been wanting to go to Chicago for a couple of years-- more for the city than anything. I don't expect him to stay a King after his contract is up.

I know you're joking but I think Sac is already spending more than enough money on Brad Miller.

It's a lot easier to lose yourself in the big city when you don't show up come playoff time.

i meant more getting one of them to chicago so chandler doesn't have to play center, but still joking

Sheet, if I'm Petrie, I do this deal.

The Bulls have a lot of young talent who will probably turn out to be better all-around players than Peja. Hinrich and Gordon are probably untouchable, but I would take, say, any two of Deng/Duhon/Nocoini/Sweetney for Peja in a heartbeat.

Peja is definitely one of the softest players in the nba. A 6'10 player that can't rebound.

Quite right. Sort of like a 7-footer who cannot play defense.

What I'm at a loss for is why a guy like Peja who has had questions about his D, how soft he is, and how much heart he has would want to go play for a hardnose like Skiles, who it seems to me would eat him alive if he kept doing what he's always done in Sacramento.

Peja sucks. The Kings are pathetic with him as their main guy, and he's no one to build around.

If he did sign with Chicago, it would give the Bulls a big-time outside threatmost overrated statement. it should have read it would give the bulls one of the biggest playoff chokers in the history of the NBA and someone who cant play defense to save his life

Kinda like Rasho who can't dunk. :lolpretty funny equating irk to Rasho. nobody but a mavs fan would equate the two

Not true. We all know that Rasho can dunk. Even on those occasions when he fails miserably at it, we still KNOW that he can dunk. We have actually seen him do it. Which is more than can be said for Dirk and his defense.

Peja is a decent player. But I see him as a key role player, kinda like Horry. He is too pricey though

He'd be great as a 4th guy in SA. Of course, he'd probably shoot like a Turk here...
