Freaking Cowboys missed their flight to Philly evidently and Sister Mary's Home For Unwed Mother's JV dressed in the blue and white tonight...

my mom gave us Gingerale.. since it has ginger in it which settles your tummy... that and coke syrup over ice. ........ man i wish i was sick nad 9 yrs old.... I miss momma taking care of me....

That's not restricted to the South Side...I grew up in Georgia and South Carolina, and that's what my Mom gave us, too. We got deflated 7-Up or Sprite; gingerale only when we were REALLY sick. I still hate the taste of flat soda, it brings it aaallllll back too vividly. I can't stand anything "orange flavored", either; it reminds me of chewing up baby aspirin. I can eat anything with real oranges in it, but not that artificially flavored stuff.
