Hmmm... didn't Incognito bully that one lineman on the Dolphins in 12-13 because he was gay or allegedly gay? Incognito vs. Nassib should be fun to watch in practice this summer. The Raiders are such a motley crew. Bullies, homophobes, ex-cons, head hunters, woman beaters, a straight arrow QB, a weirdo head coach/GM, an owner who cut off his nose to spite his face, and now... an openly gay guy who's actually a decent rotation player and not just a camp body? Incognito and Martin clearly had a toxic friendship that had elements of bullying but probably can't be neatly defined as such. For all we know, there might've been some sexual or intimate aspect to it. I can imagine that happens way more, both in bullying and in the NFL, than folks might initially suspect. Still, I don't think Incognito meant the homophobic stuff he said to actually suggest Martin was gay. More just how someone like him talks.

Good on Nassib, btb. It's nice that Sam won't forever define the NFL's public relationship to gay players. Sam wasn't a good pro player, but his sexuality made it a PR thorn bush to figure that out. Nassib can play, so he should be able to normalize things way better than Sam could.
