What's with these guys at foxsports? just because tS.A. loses 2 games on the road the Spurs are not worthy enough of even the #2 slot while the clippers are ranked higher?

Inane ratings, comments already sent in to these Spurs bashers from yours truly. Notice Cavs who the Spurs rolled are at 6!

FSN-SW has good coverage of sporting events, and that's about all. I don't pay a lot of attention to any of their "commentary" or opinion on the state of things in the sports world. It is about as valid and unbiased and reliable as FoxNews' views/opinions about what is going on in the rest of the world. What they (the people on the network airwaves) say is a reflection of what their owners and management feel and think, most of which has nothing to do with reality (or with what, I suspect, the "on-air" people really think).

What? You mean hip-hop hoops publications like DIME don't[ like the Spurs? This is news to me.

The next thing you know, they're going to start hyping fancy dunks, headbands, baggy shorts, and bling.

The Spurs to them are too "international" (Read:white)

Lets see, from the article they claim the Spurs "only play when it counts" and dropped their only two games on a 5 game road trip. Yup, they're 7-2 but since they don't seem to want to win and we feel that they're not trying, lets put them at .... oh I don't know... 8th?

Objectivity never gets in the way of the crack team down at Fox Sports. Utah plays hard and tries to win every night so I'm guessing they'll rocket to the top of their list soon. Hmmmm, maybe not if the controversial "coin toss" method some of their writers have been pushing for wins out next week.

I almost responed to the list by e-mail but thought better of it when I noticed the address was "[email protected]". Some things just speak for themselves.

Bucks, Pacers, Cavs and Clippers don't rate ahead of San Antonio. The Pistons, Wizards and Mavs rate ahead of the Spurs using basic logic, even though the Spurs two losses came to the Wizards and Mavs on the 2nd game of b2b on the road.

Rate the Spurs 4 this week and I'm fine.

Indiana at #4 WOW!!! Didn't they just get rolled on by the BOBcats by 32. Damn I guess you get extra points for having at least 5 guys on your team with "street cred".

i really do think that there is some genuine Spus hatred circulating amongst the FoxSports brass. There is a reason why the Rockets coverage is so much more extensive thatn Spurs coverage on FSSW

Also, considering the fact that the Clippers have JUST as many losses as the Spurs. If the Clips (who are only half a game behind the Spurs, mind you) win their "road" game against the Lakers tonight, then they'll be caught up with the Spurs.

I think FOX's Spur hatred comes because a former Laker Girl is a judge on American Idol.

Shit...I have Dish Network, and all Spurs games televised on FSNSW are SUPPOSED to be shown in San Antonio, no questions asked! But I flip it to FSNSW on the day of a Spurs game, and do THEY show that game?! NO! They show a Dallas Mavs game, or a Dallas Stars game instead! At first, I thought this was Dish Network's fault (maybe I should've been a Time Warner customer like Manu)! But in light of this comment, I'm starting to think it's FSNSW's fault!

If that keeps up throughout the end of April, then we'll see a whole playoff series played exclusively at Staples Center in the first round.

It doesn't matter where anyone ranks us right now. They have a right to their opinion. We will show come June who is worthy of the number 1 ranking and a repeat will come to the Spurs.

We may have been hasty... Alright, we were. Check back for this week's rankings. Thanks for the e-mail.

Seriously...who cares? Does it matter where they (or any Sports channels) place the Spurs??

Does it?

they could put the Spurs at #1 or #30...I wouldn't care.

I don't have a problem with the Pistons being at #1 they have played the best so far, but any ranking that does not have the Spurs in the top 3 should be torn up and thrown away.

You mean that a studio show based in Dallas covers Dallas teams the most?

The state's biggest media market gets the most coverage?

I demand an investigation.
