Update: Williams, who sat out Thursday's practice with a bruised right knee, will not play Friday night against Philadelphia, the Miami Herald reports. Williams sustained the injury earlier this week when he banged knees with the Hornets' Chris Andersen.
Recommendation: The Heat is listing him day-to-day, but the team believes he could miss up to three games. Gary Payton will start at point guard in his place.
