Is the dude trying to set a record for shot attempts in a season or what?

Ranks #1 in the NBA in Field-Goal Attempts Per 48 Minutes(33.0)

Nov 20 vs Chi (L) 17-34
Nov 18 vs Clips (L) 12-35
Nov 16 vs Knicks (W) 15-36

105 shots in his last three games!!

Meanwhile, the Clippers are already 3 1/2 games ahead of the Lakers ... damn that's too bad!

You gotta love the way Lakers are destructing themselves. I wonder if Kobe can ever grow up.

Looks like he is challenging AI and tmac for scoring titles.

He is shooting way too much...but no else is stepping up so he puts in Kobecontrol and all hell breaks loose. He shot 17/34 last night so the pace isn't stopping anytime soon. His arm is going to fall off.
"bryangle" that's pretty funny....

Kobe's probably trying too hard to prove to the world that he is the next Michael Jordan. What's funny about that is that he nearly came closer to being the next OJ than the next MJ at one point. Next Michael Jordan? I think not. In fact, I think someone like Manu or King James is closer to being the next MJ than Kobe is.

And let's not forget that Luke Walton has one hell of a legacy to carry on, albeit his dad's constant injuries. I don't think the Lakers are giving Bill Walton's son the opportunity to do so, probably because they're so obsessed with the other second-generation NBA player on their team.

King James...maybe...but Manu, are f'ing kidding. From now on all your posts will be considered trite and useless given your obvious basketball knowledge....please.

It will be the same as last year. Where all of the California teams will have a better record than the Lakers. Well last year Lakers were tied with Warriors for worst record in California but the Warriors didn't have Baron Davis until the 2nd half of the season when they started to do bad ass.

Also you can now say Clippers > Lakers

I love it becuz back in the 3-peat years, i'd always discuss to people how i'd rather have Iverson over Kobe.

A classic case for the Kobe homers was Iverson takes too many shots, and Kobe is more efficient.
Naturally, I would reply, but he has shaq. All else being equal, I'd take Iverson over Kobe Steaks.

Kobe is bad ass, but you can't carry a team alone in today's nba. Not even my nigga Duncan could do it.

I'm sorry, but if you think that Manu is better than Kobe...
I'd honestly rather have a player like Manu than a player like Kobe around Tim Duncan anyday, but that is based on chemistry and roles within the team. I believe that Kobe is a very egotistical, immature player, who says the right things to the media but never "walks the walk". However, that does not mean he isn't passionate about basketball or isn't one of the best players in the league.
Manu has been in the league 3 years and while he is a proven winner, that doesn't give him the right to be compared with a player of Kobe Bryant's caliber.

Oh, Gee!!

I think Kobe covets a scoring title or the MVP award more than another ring.
