What if Player X did get vaccinated and but it was their unvaxed teammates that got covid? Does Player X still get paid in that case, or not?

If not, that is fucking evil and Player X should hold out until he is repaid the entire sum of what he lost plus interest and damages, since he did all that he could and it wasn't his fault. Especially if it's a decent to big name player. Either pay me or I hold out until you pay me or cut me and I'll sign with your division rival for cheap and vow revenge.

he'd have been a high end backup. but nobody wants to risk forfeiting a game because your backup got covid

Possibly right on vaccination stance but I think the most damning reason is he had like 8 TD passes last season yet still some people think he deserves a chance to be a starter. The NFL is all about talent and if you can play then you’ll play. If you suck and you’re a distraction, then bye…
