Meaningless information for the most part this early in the season, but somewhat interesting nonetheless ...

At The Line: Against the Sacramento Kings on Monday night, Spurs center Rasho Nesterovic went to the free throw line for the first time this season. Last season, Nesterovic went to the line only 30 times all season, down considerably from his career-high 114 free throw attempts in the 2003-04 campaign.

Double Trouble: Since entering the NBA in the 1997-98 season, Tim Duncan has recorded 454 double-doubles. That is 76.0% of his 597 games -- the highest rate of double-double production of any player in the NBA during that time span.

Beyond The Arc: Bruce Bowen knocked down 2-of-3 shots from beyond the arc against Sacramento, including a critical three-pointer with 1:30 left in the fourth quarter. On the season, Bowen is shooting 61.5% (16-of-26) from downtown -- tops in the league.

Back On Track: Through the first seven games of the season, suffering from a thigh bruise, Manu Ginobili was averaging only 11.1 points per game on 32.4% shooting. Since that time, Ginobili has averaged 18.8 points on 51.6% shooting in a five game span.

Road Warrior: Away from home this season, Tony Parker is averaging 23.0 points on 55.9% from the field and 77.4% from the free throw line, while pulling down 3.7 rebounds and dishing 5.3 assists. While at the SBC Center, he averages 19.6 points and 2.6 rebounds (53.1% FG, 50.0% FT). However his assist numbers are up and his turnovers down at home.

Back On The Court: Brent Barry was back in uniform for the Spurs on Monday. Barry missed the last six games with back spasms. The 33-year-old guard, who is in his eleventh year in the league, has never played all 82 games in a season.

Looking For His Shot: Michael Finley returned to action against the Phoenix Suns on Saturday after missing five games with a groin strain. Finley, who opened the season shooting 7-for-10 from the field against the Nuggets, has shot only 21.2% since that time.

I hope Finley gets his Title. He's a player I wish the Suns never would have traded.

He and Cassell for Kidd looks laughable considering Phoenix never won a playoff series with Kidd at the helm.

With the Suns all but out (barring a miracle return from Amare), I'm pretty much a defacto Finley fan and he just happens to play for the Spurs.

I was actually expecting Finley to return to the Suns when he got cut loose by the Mavs, cuz look what happened to Steve Nash during Free Agency; he signed with the Suns, despite the fact that the Suns were the ones that traded him to Dallas to begin with. Funny how free agency works out...

Kidd played the last 2 games (both wins) of the Suns first round series win over the Spurs in 2000 I think.

Maybe our new shooting coach can work with Rasho on his FTs...then he won't be so scrared to go to the line.

IMO... I didn't look like Rasho was scared to go to the line to shoot FT's...he was afraid of another BS Foul call by the refs last night.

Rasho's free throws have looked great all season during warm-ups and he made them both last night-- would have been nice to mention that. When you shoot a lot of jump shots, fadeaways, and hook shots, you won't get fouled much. Last night he got fouled going in for a dunk!

Sat out the first three games due to injury, returned for the clinching game. I'm not counting that one game as leading the Suns in the playoffs because he didn't play much and Penny and KJ did all the leading.
