I had always thought that area would have been better for the AT&T Center than the east side tbh

The skyline in the background of that last picture isn't San Antonio tbh.

So much for revitalizing the area around the AT&T Center.

The skyline in the background of that last picture isn't San Antonio tbh. It does look pretty flattering for SA. The article says it will be near La Cantera.

it's a rather ambiguous skyline but the skyline in SA will change significantly over the next few years. so maybe this rendering tried to incorporate them. one of the other slides did at least contain fiesta texas in the background.

The biggest home owners are people with kids. Are you going to take your kids to those schools is the question? Putting a stadium there ain't gonna change shit. :lol
It was all BS.

It’s a shame they can’t make hemisphere plaza work again. Stadium should be in the heart of down town

The longhorn quarry project was the perfect site. But those geniuses turned it down.

What is a "team performance center?"

You couldn't possibly build a new arena (especially with all that other stuff) for $510 million.

Really Cool. They are building this a few miles from my neighborhood.

Did/does anyone really think there was any legitimate threat of the Spurs moving? Sure, it's Day 1 ST troll schtick taken from the few LOLaker fans who ate jizz for nearly a decade, but any retards really buy into this?

San Antonio would have the superior Texas NFL team if not for Jerruh cock-blocking the Vikes and the Saints from coming to their owners' hometowns.

That's what I was thinking. There's really no way to build a modern arena for less than a billy.

I'm guessing this is a state of the art practice facility.

Spurs staff and medical team has been traveling over to Europe a few years to observe soccer training and medical facilities at places such as the one for Manchester U. In addition they have been in talks with Methodist Healthcare System to partner with as well for this project. This will be a valuable component for them going forward once its finished in terms of training, staffing, recruiting, and rehab. Of course it won’t help a player much if you pull the kind of crap nephew did.

It’s a rendering. Do you think every tree rendered actually exists? Dipstick.

Spurs aren't leaving San Antonio.

You don't just kick out the 5th winningest franchise in NBA history over a few bad seasons.

People want us to tank for draft picks, but all of a sudden start acting like WHY IS THE TEAM EVEN IN SAN ANTONIO once the team starts losing???

That is why exactly why the ownership group wants to stay semi-competitive.

It'll happen if taxpayers don't build them a new stadium in ten years.
