Last year there was like six weeks between the end of the previous season and the new one. Plus the championship was determined as much by injuries than anything. Losing the preseason certainly doesn't mean anything exactly, but there does seem to be a correlation between zilching out and not doing well during the season, by some commentators who seem to have crunched the data.

That’s what I suggested was jumping to a conclusion. I thought he deserved more games in his suspension. It means, to me at least, the guy is mentally unstable and should get help. Because if he flips out after an apology, he’ll probably react similarly after other episodes that do not warrant such reactions. And that’s a dangerous 6’8, 250 physical specimen of a dude on the court. When he was being held back by Cade Cunningham, he could have easily seriously injured Cade. And I would have been pissed.

My desire to know what was said is to find out if there is any rational reason that Stewart flipped out like that. If LeBron said or acted in any way that could be seen as triggering Stewart to react in such a way, that somewhat changes the narrative. That’s why I offered the types of hypothetical comments that could have helped explain why someone would have gotten so full of rage.
