2nd straight CBS Early+Late / Fox Single week. I hate that. I miss when Fox had America's GOTW every week, up to 2017 I believe. I believe they sacrificed that for TNF, a bad exchange. TNF typically sucks. Broncos @ Browns? Really? Who cares. Wasting Joe Buck on those boring games is like wasting your ace pitcher on a game right before the baseball playoffs when you've already locked in your playoff seed.

Fox announcers and presentation is way better from top to bottom. Only real asset CBS has is Romo, and Nantz is still QB1 on that gig which sucks because he's boring and his football knowledge is less than mediocre. At least Joe Buck and (especially) Al Michaels know their shit in football. And they're much more entertaining.

Also, The NFL was better when Tirico had a full time QB1 play by play job. Being stuck at QB2 for NBC is a bad gig... yes Michaels is getting older and Tirico will eventually inherit that role, but Tirico's wasting prime years of his announcing career as a backup when NBC virtually never has multiple games and never more than one on the same day.

Steve Levy is straight up trash as a primary play by play announcer and should go back to the studio. Joe Tessitore was actually DECENT, don't know why they gave him the axe after 2 solid years (yes, Witten wasn't great and Booger is terrible). Sean McDonough was straight up trash and unworthy of the NFL, though he always did a good job on college games... should have been left there. Tirico not on ESPN MNF has made that an inferior product. Nantz being the "star" on CBS's A-team ("QB1") has long made that an inferior product, though Romo has been an enormous upgrade at color over Phil Simms.

Patrick "Winston" Mahomes with yet another bad INT throwing back across his body. Overrated QB. I'm not even frankly sure he's Top 10 anymore.

Washington's offense has bailed out the Packers defense in the red zone.

AFC North battles are always fun to watch. Even more so now that all 4 teams are .500+.

The Packers get the Chiefs in Week 9. Hopefully they have the same showing against the Packers that they are having against the Titans.

Packers had made 3 consecutive red zone stops in this game after making zero red zone stops for the season coming into this game.

strange week so far tbh

Patriots scoring 54, Bengals blowing out Baltimore at home, Kansas City scoring 3 points, Panthers getting manhandled by The Bot, and Lions/Texans both leading the Rams/Cardinals (for now anyway)

Fields is ass too.

I don't agree. As soon as the owners grow a brain and clean house with that godawful coaching staff/GM and bring in people of confidence and a QB/offense friendly coach, you will see Fields and that team take off like Dak Prescott and the Cowboys.

I see Fields as being a prime Deshaun Watson/Warren Moon clone, of course with better character than Watson.

Yep. He is fucking awful. I imagine they try to replace him after this year.

The Eagles will likely have the draft QB to draft whoever they want in 2021. Two top 10 draft picks (their own and Miami's) and another in the first round (Colts pick).

Problem is, the 2022 draft is shaping up to be like 2013 or 2014 in terms of QBs, as opposed to the last several drafts which have yielded at least 1 star QB every draft (2016: Dak/Wentz, 2017: Mahomes/Watson, 2018: Allen/Mayfield, 2019: Murray, 2020: Burrow/Herbert, 2021: Lawrence/Jones/???) this coming year doesn't even have a Winston or Mariota prospect like in 2015. It's one of those EJ Manuel "dud years" where people will be drafting BPAs high as opposed to a QB flurry. We haven't seen one of "those" drafts in awhile, but we're overdue for it in 2022.

I expect the New Orleans Football Pelicans to SMASH the Wilson-less Seahawks in Seattle tonight. Those fans up there ain't shit anymore. Darth_Pelican
