For the past few months, they've been switching the Spurs' pick between two point guards. Is that the most pressing need for the Spurs or do they think Mo Williams is that much a better overall talent than, say, Brian Cook, who fell all the way to #38 in the latest mock (after the likes of Rickert, Jameer Nelson and Ndudi Ebi)?

Also, I thought that the Spurs ended up with Portland's second round pick in this upcoming draft. They have the Spurs' second round pick going to the Pistons (Bateer trade) which is correct.

That was the pick we got back from Portland. We originally sent it out in the DA/Smitty trade.

I've been told that nbadraft's mock at this point is merely a player ranking and doesn't take team needs, etc. into account. Why act like it's a mock draft then?
