As a french, he is my favorite no-spurs player. People laugh when we say he was very talented.

When he was traded to Phoenix, D'Antoni said he likes his ability to run the point.
Tonight he plays center against Yao and he made a great job (Yao put maybe 2 points on him). Awesome.

This guy is a real team-first player, he knows how to play this game.
He finished with 17 points at 7-10, 10 rebounds and 6 assists.
Diaw and Nash play great together.

Maybe nobody care but it's my tribute to Boris. :elephant

Too bad he isn't a Spurs, I had to support Suns a little because of him.

Damn those numbers are impressive. It looks like a bargain that they got a pick and him for Joe Johnson.

The great Yao Ming shows his size once again by allowing those stats. What a joke.

He and Barbosa really played well of each other. Early in the season, they were the tandom that woud either rally the Suns or build their leads.

Those two have a BRIGHT future in Phoenix.

Terrible pun intended.

Technically, the trade is as follows.

Johnson
for
Diaw, LA's future 1st-rounder (top-10, top-5, naked), Atlanta future 1st-rounder (top-10, top-3, naked) and 6 million trade exception, 2.2 of which was used for James Jones.

So, it's really Diaw, Jones, two picks and a 3.8 million exception for Johnson.

It wasn't the franshise ending move some forsaw, though neither player is as good in Phoenix's system as Johnson was.

I thought the picks were more protected, great trade .
Don't you send a second round pick for Jones ? (I know it isn't a big loss).
and I forget the 2 blocks and 2 steals he does tonight.

The Lakers pick is complicated.

The Lakers pick is first sent (if it qualifies) to Boston, who then chooses the better pick between its own and the Lakers, then sends the lesser pick to the Hawks, who send it to the Suns to complete that part of the trade.

Also, the Hawks' pick is lottory protected this year, but everything else is correct.

I'm looking forward to getting the pick in 2007 or 2008.

I don't know if you're a huge college hoops fan, but I'd love to see either LaMarcus Aldridge or 2006 prep stud, Kevin Durant in a Suns' uni.

First triple double for Boris, first for a french player.
He won't be far from being MIP. (David West make a great season too)

Look at the date of the posts. Boris made a triple double yeasterday against Sixers.
I haven't create a new thread for the triple double since nobody cares about him except me.

Atlanta has a way of making most trades look that way. Phoenix's system makes it look all the worse, as there may not be a better team at utilizing talent than the Suns.

Diaw won't be a Sun for long.

Diaw should be considered for Most Improved Player. He kicked the Sixers ass last night (:() and was impressive against the Cavs last Sunday, despite the Suns losing that game.

Should Spurs and Suns meet again this postseason, I'm not sure it will be quite as easy to beat them this time around. Not that they can't or won't :)

Horry For 3!

I agree, he's gonna get crazy money soon and Suns cannot afford.

I was gonna make a topic about DIAW, he is a beast!!!!
