Spurs on offensive possession later Derrick is driving to his right after getting a screen a laker slides in front of White as he is launching towards the basket, position was very questionable, foul on Derrick for charging.

The Spurs are going to be at a disadvantage with whistles, also if they hit their free throws they win this in regulation. However the lack of names also seems like it is going to seriously hurt a team with many guys who are attacking the basket and not getting calls.

Nah the Spurs did that to themselves, that's kinda the issue though that I was having Lakers they were having a crap game, but were allowed the opportunity to get back into it. We have seen it in the past with other teams. If you don't have a couple of all star names you won't get those second chances and your margin is lots thinner.

what is the point of this post? anyone who was around for the entirety of the David Stern years knows full well that the stars got the calls. They rarely ever fouled out. Stern knew who put butts in the seats and he made sure that they were spotlighted and on the floor as much as possible. what I find frustrating is the way these new players like Harden, Curry, and others who commit offensive fouls, yet get to the FT line consistently.
