Marko Jaric: Slumping of Late

Update: Jaric has been in a slump the last five games, averaging just 23 minutes, 5.8 points, 3.4 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 2.8 turnovers and shot just 38 percent. "Marko is thinking instead of playing," head coach Dwayne Casey told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "I told him to go with his instincts, get in attack mode, don't let a turnover here or thinking 'How am I going to do this?' affect him. I don't think it's a matter of him being confused on what we're trying to accomplish or with the sets. It's feeling the pressure, not relaxing. ... I told him, just play."
Recommendation: Jaric is still the starting point guard but his grip on the job may not last long if he continues to struggle and Troy Hudson stays hot.
