The UT/A&M game does expose some problems for the Longhorns. USC has a similar defense to the aggies in terms of a good defensive line that carries a vulnerable secondary... but the Trojans are considerably better than the Aggies in terms of both d-line and secondary. There's no reason USC couldn't execute a similar defensive gameplan as the aggies did but do it even better than they did.
Vince Young needs to perform better next week if he wants to win the Big XII. And he needs to perform much better if he wants to beat USC.
Horry For 3!

Ah, I see. Now we're back to "it's a rivalry game." Got it. Because in the weeks leading up to the game, most Longhorn fans were trying like hell to convince anyone who would listen that this years version of the Longhorns were just too good to win by anything less than 50 points. Rivalry be damned.

Don't worry guys.
What we saw yesterday was a longhorns team with their heads up their asses, most likely partially hung over from thanksgiving, and not taking a&m seriously.
They deserved that scare.
They'll be ready to play come december.

So, was it not a rivalry game then & did UT not play like they expected to win by 100pts?
I think UT played like shit & ags played like it was for the BCS trophy.
Oh well, I guess horns lost that game because they....OH WAIT!, that's right, Horns did NOT LOSE.
:lol :lol
Such a hard bitter pill to swallow for the fence riders. :lol

I'm willing to bet that if Fresno state played at A&M with a lot at stake, it would be a close game.

Yeah, and there is no reason Texas couldn't find the many gaping holes Fresno found in USC's defense, only do it better. It's all relative.

I think A&M played with its backup QB, lost its starting RB, came in with what had been a horrid D this season and a host of injuries and scared Roscoe shitless.
A little better execution by the Aggies and Horns fans would be praying that a win in the Big 12 title game plus a little help would get them back on the road to Pasadena.

who cares if its was a backup qb and backup rb if their starting qb and starting rb sucked balls.
