Usage of the medication sildenafil -- better known to most as the brand-name drug Viagra -- is associated with dramatically reduced incidence of Alzheimer's disease (https://www.sciencealert.com/giant-study-finds-viagra-is-linked-to-almost-70-lower-risk-of-alzheimer-s), new research suggests. According to a study led by researchers at the Cleveland Clinic, taking sildenafil (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sildenafil) is tied to a nearly 70 percent lower risk of developing Alzheimer's compared to non-users. That's based on an analysis (https://www.nature.com/articles/s43587-021-00138-z?error=cookies_not_supported&code=5016791f-f036-45eb-b483-9fb8915801f1) of health insurance claim data from over 7.2 million people, in which records showed that claimants who took the medication were much less likely to develop Alzheimer's over the next six years of follow up, compared to matched control patients who didn't use sildenafil.

It's important to note that observed associations like this -- even on a huge scale -- are not the same as proof of a causative effect. For example, it's possible that the people in the cohort who took sildenafil might have something else to thank for their improved chances of not developing Alzheimer's. Nonetheless, the researchers say the correlation shown here -- in addition to other indicators in the study -- is enough to identify sildenafil as a promising candidate drug for Alzheimer's disease, the viability of which can be explored in future randomized clinical trials designed to test whether causality does indeed exist.

When you get 70, you don't want to remember who you fucked last night. They won't see this as a positive.

I see the ST conservatives comments already.

:cry If it is god’s will that both heads go bad, so be it, plus it is an entitlement program.

:cry Big phrama lie to take your money!

:cry I have read other studies that show that is how the government tracks you. Plenty of youtubes on how Soros did this using child sacrifice blood!

:cry The Clintons are in on it too. Part of Hollywood pedo cabal.

:cry Alex Jones has a better product and it counters the chemtrails that makes you want homosexual sex.

:cry No one posted anything about chemtrails? Please send a copy of the study on chemtrails to a Poster B’s wife so she understands but without the Alex Jones material?

Seems pretty self explanatory that older guys thinking about/having sex wouldn't have Alzheimers anyway.

dick hardeners "work" for about only 50% of hopefuls

dick hardeners work by creating Nitric oxide that dilates arteries, including penile arteries

Is it the NO that supposedly affects the brain, or some other dick hardener chemical?

lol

Viagra probably opens blood vessels (and promotes more blood flow to the penis/brain - I'm sure I'll get comments about how similar they are :-) - LOL

Some do. It's given for pulmonary hypertension.
