Yeah, he's supposedly one of the top glandular doctors in the country. There's Spurs posters and stuff everywhere at the clinic.

wtf? Dr. Schwartz is the King of Fans because he has center court front row tickets?

I declare bullshit. The person up in the top row that spends their last eleven dollars on tickets and screams their ass off only to be unheard is a true fan.

stupid topic.

I wouldn't have been as easy on those refs last night.

Another pathetic effort.

The king of fans - where he is he on the forums, does he travel long distances to see the Spurs, does he get up at odd hours to "talk smack", did he suffer a slow death as I and others on the forum did over 0.4 etc.?

He may be wealthy and goofy looking enough to stand out in a crowd but does that make him the "greatest fan" - I can dare say it does not.

It is not me, but I would match my own credentials vs. his and bet that on this site there is truly the "Spurs top fan" among one of you all. (AngelLuv, Ducks are surely in the mix).

There's some guy that I keep seein on tv behind commentators, especially during the playoffs. He's been around since 1999 for sure... Everytime I see him I recognize him... I have no idea who the hell he is... He looks Asian Indiany... Anyone know who I'm talkin about?

There's nobody on this forum who has traveled more than I have to watch our Spurs play. I used to set my alarmclock to get in the chatroom and listen to Jay Howard call the games through WOAI's livestream. I am 100% sure that no Spurs fan suffered a slower dead than any other Spurs fan in general.

I say that man is the ultimate Spurs fan because I have seen his genuine enthousiasm all this time. REALY feeling it and not putting up an act like other courtside peeps namely at the Staple.

Maybe he doesn't have the time to dwell on the net and stuff because he might be realy busy and he is rewarded for his business with a good salary and he buys the courtside season tickets to live and die while suporting his team?

Oh, yeah, I recognize Dr. Schwartz. When I first read his name, though, I thought y'all meant the team's orthopedist... Isn't his name Schwartz, too? So, I was confused, because I was thinking, "Why would Tim see an endocrinologist for his sprained ankle?"

Despot
11-26-2005, 02:27 PM
Yeah, the Valvoline guy seems more interested in camera time than the game.

And I know a few people that spend alot more more money than I do on Spurs gear, but don't even watch any of the games, couldn't name 5 players, or the years they won the championships, or who they even beat in the Finals last year.
Does that make them batter fans than me?

Heh, yeah, can't mistake the face. Sherwyn Schwartz, MD. Though you think as a supporter and such a prominent doc that he'd do things like 1) Attend his own father's funeral - or even drop by to see his father in the hospital when he broke his hip a few years ago (Schwartz's alleged view is that he "buried [his] father 5 years ago" according to relative's conversation) 2) So much as acknowledge his children from his former marriage [the divorce, a result of a major homewrecking and quasi elopement - the entire medical community who knows him is quite aware of the mess that ensued - his original synagogue rabbi essentially labelled him a disgrace for doing what he did].

He was at Temple last year - completely ignored his daughter, who wished him a happy new year on Yom Kippur, and who was VERY pregnant at the time, and in Dec. of 2006, gave birth to a beautiful little baby boy. I wonder if someone as prominent as Schwartz can have the temerity to say 'I buried my son and daughter 5 years ago also' as he said of his own dad? I hope this fouled logic he's applied to his estranged family doesn't carry over into his new one. Wouldn't matter if he were the best Spurs fan in the world...... center court-side doesn't buy back wrongs committed earlier in life. You guys should see this kid... next late great Spurs fan for life!

AhtheNameizObsessedStalker!, I couldn't agree more. I've been witness to the destructive nature of this man. I truly feel sorry for him though. I think when you get that wealthy and that prominent; it must change you as a person. A person like that has little or no remorse, because he no longer empathizes. He is so out of touch with people emotionally, that he isn't concerned with hurting others. Self-absorption leads to a lonely and disconnected life. Fans on these forums may envy the guy for his courtside seat, but in real life, having those tickets comes with a price.
