completely unnecessary. going for the ball is one thing, but going through a players Achilles to get it is just dangerous and dirty

In context it’s a dirty play. It was off Kyrie and going to be a backcourt violation regardless. There was no point trying to save the ball going out of bounds, it was going to be Portland ball. There was no way to keep it inbounds for a quick score either. Him diving for it hurt his team, because now it’s Brooklyn’s ball.

I’m all for hard play and hustle, but this play just shows me that Nassir Little has zero basketball IQ.

If Kyrie was about to pick up the ball and go for a fast break lay up then that would've been a nice play by Little... BUUUT he wasn't and if anything that ended up giving the Nets the ball back on what should've been a turnover so that's an unnecessary cheap play by Little

Bad play. He could have caught covid and he should have broken Kyrie's leg.
