What's the point in these constant low teen (11-14) picks... it's rare they ever amount to anything. We need to be near the worst team in the league to land us a Ja Morant, Luka, or Trae Young.

At the Spurs peak, we just have a handful of nice and solid players. We need someone that will be the best player on the court on most given nights. We need Pablo or Jabrari.

It's been 25 years since we have even drafted within the top 10.

The Spurs currently have the 6th best odds, nowhere near the 11-14 range.

Also, why the need to start a new thread for every shower thought?

We have to get a top 5 pick instead of fighting for a play-in spot and been eliminated after 1 loss. Having "playoff" experience is great (though playing 1 play-in game is not really playoff experience), but we need to get a super star, Memphis did with Ja and is now a competitive team.

Memphis fought for a playin spot and was knocked out. They did it again and made the playoffs. Now they might be a top 4 seed. It is about experience. If the Spurs are good enough, they absolutely try and win. Pop is playing the young guys. It's not like he is playing Young and Mcdermott 30 mins out there.
