This and that Dell guy are like sharks circling their victim waiting to pounce on the team to Seattle or Vegas.

Still think if the Spurs are getting moved it'll be to Austin.

Austin or Vegas would for sure be the next location. Contract lease with AT&T Center (soon to be named something else now that AT&T isn’t renewing their naming rights) ends in 2030 I believe. If the Spurs are still trash by then, relocation wouldn’t shock me tbh. Still don’t think it happens, as the Spurs are synonymous with San Antonio and it would be devastating to the city, but it’s definitely a possibility. All the more reason why it’s so important to field a competitor in a small market. Spurs can’t afford to suck for years on end tbh.

So, we got 8 more years of trolls screaming "The spurs are going to move."

As mentioned before, as the ownership coalition changes, the way the team is run might change as well. I'm curious if this will make them more aggressive or more parsimonious I famously gave my thoughts on how that change might've played into their decision to take Chriss for cash last year. As they continue to bring in new money, they might decide that's the best way to get the team in the black through these lean years. Or they might become like Minnesota and try to win now. We'll see.

Would be interested to see how the ownership and voting rights breakdown these days.

Just because the lease ends in 2032 doesn't preclude the team from moving a few years earlier and negotiating an exit fee with the city of San Antonio.

I wonder why Dell didn't buy this part of the team, or if it was even offered to him?

Airbnb Center incoming.

Wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, I guess....but I'd still prefer HEB. The more likely option will be Dell.

Any of those are better than the fucking Crypto.com Arena (LOL Lakers)

It should affect the direction of the team and could be the reason for mid-season trade.

This team needs to make big swings. We have 3 years to get good again so it’s time to trade everyone of value except Murray. He’s untradeable. Keep his boy in Lonnie if Murray likes him too. But we need to net some 1sts from other teams. Hawks pick for White and Raps pick if they’re dumb enough o trade for Jak. It can be future years as well. But we need multiple picks to trade for a disgruntled star. We probably won’t get one but we won’t even be in the discussion unless we have multiple FRPs
