Nothing scientific about it, they're economists, not health experts... didn't need a study to figure out lockdowns are bad for the economy.

This is like calling a plumber when when you have a tooth ache.

Hard to blame them tbh...most of the proudly ignorant have absolutely no clue what goes into a scientific study and have zero idea how its internal and external validity is measured. lack of education is a big problem imho

A lockdown has to be even handed. (Ours) never came close. There were a slew of exceptions and excuses insistently, consequently it failed. There was never any other outcome possible.

If a health emergency requires a lockdown, then it has to be a lockdown. It's understood it's a temporary measure.
