Herb Jones isn't talked about with the likes of Mobley, Cunningham, or Wagner, but is quietly having a very good rookie season and surprisingly leads all rookies in Fivethirtyeight.com's WAR stat: https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/nba-player-ratings/

Very interesting player, who is 6'7"+ with a 7' wingspan and shooting 37% from three, 83.5% on FTs, and 54% on 2pt shots.

There's a good argument for him being the best defensive rookie and he was also a great pick for them where they got him. He's not rookie of the year material but, he's a solid player with a long career in front of him.

He was older than Primo’s draft age when he got to Bama. He then spent 4 years there. One would hope he could pick up some skills in that time. He’s pretty typical of 4 year collegians who make the league: medium to high floor, low ceiling.

He's very good, but will always have the built in disadvantage of being 6'0". They both have cool nicknames: Mitchell's is "Off Night" and Jones is called either "Not On Herb" or "Straightjacket."
