Senate Appropriations ranking member Richard C. Shelby (https://www.rollcall.com/members/11?utm_source=memberLinks&utm_medium=memberlinks&personid=11), R-Ala., said he hopes Congress can clear the omnibus by Friday but if not, “I think we would pass a quick CR that would tide it over. We’re not going to shut this government down.”https://rollcall.com/2022/03/08/negotiators-working-through-final-issues-on-omnibus-text/

Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb. I hope Manchin shoots it down. The last thing we need in this hyperinflationary economy is more fucking government spending and expansionary fiscal policy in general, :lol
What we need is a temporary 70% tax on all income over a million dollars, temporarily eliminate itemized deductions for a couple years, and no more new spending bills. Then decommission most of the revenue out of the economy. Reverse the trend.

Why do that when you can tax the plebs via inflation?

Tax the rich needs to applied to corporations, not just people. Tax the shit out of Amazon, Netflix, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, big banks et al.
We need CONTRACTIONARY economic policy (both fiscal and Fed), not inflationary. Wake up, sheeple. Reverse inflation; buck the trend.

Because Manchin shot down BBB and they stopped at stimmy #4. There never should have been a stimmy #1 in the first place. Should have not panicked over a URI and should have instead let the economy play itself out. No forbearances, no forgivenesses.
