...no one ever responds to my posts?

Are they stupid? Ill-conceived? Poorly thought out? Just so wrong that no one even wants to make me feel bad by calling them idiotic? Do I have leprosy and don't know it?

I'm not complaining or anything, just wondering if I'm like one of those people that you guys automatically ignore when they make a post because you just know that it's ridiculous and not worth responding to. If I am, someone please speak up and tell me so! I'm trying to get better at writing, and trying to learn the game of basketball better, and I need help. Please, someone, anyone, tell me what's wrong with me!

I mean, mouse can post the most inane shit of all time, but still get 20,000 views and ten pages worth of replies.

Am I worse than mouse?!? Is that even possible? Would posting something like "Tim Duncan < Desagana Diop" make me more popular? I need answers! Help!

That would have just been icing on my black, depressing cake that I eat all by myself over here in the corner of SpursTalk. :cry

I think I'm going to start responding to my own posts under a different name, agreeing with myself about everyting I said...hey, it works for mouse!

A good rule of thumb for anyone is to think before you post, be prepared to back it up with substance, then go from there.

Unless you are given to senseless emotional outbursts or you just don't take time to think things through.... it's not about you con queso. Just bring the carne, before you add the queso and you'll have one tasty burger.

Mouse usually gets more response and attention even to his ridiculous threads BECAUSE it's sometimes insulting :blah , out of bounds and people usually DON'T AGREE with him.

this is a forum, if you don't agree to what poster said you start a debate. but if what he's saying is worthwhile you read it, then move elsewhere...go to another thread

sometimes :tu is no longer needed to assure someone u agree with him

that's it.

You are a good poster, if you are making points that are valid, you sometimes won't get many replies because you said everything that needs to be said.

Keep on posting! :)

Why did the Willie Anderson Retired Jersey thread get closed and the newest Scream for Attention is five viewers and seventeen posts deep?

At least that one was Spurs related. There's literally hundreds of these self-validation types in the Club.

Chill references are cool, too.

Willie Anderson was awesome, to bad he had bad shins.

Willie Anderson's five best years (PPG - RPG - APG):
88-89: 18.6 - 5.1 - 4.6
89-90: 15.7 - 4.5 - 4.4
90-91: 14.4 - 4.7 - 4.8
91-92: 13.1 - 5.3 - 5.3
93-94: 11.9 - 3.0 - 4.3

Sean Elliott's five best years:
90-91: 15.9 - 5.6 - 2.9
91-92: 16.3 - 5.4 - 2.6
92-93: 17.2 - 4.6 - 3.8
94-95: 18.1 - 3.5 - 2.5
95-96: 20.0 - 5.1 - 2.7

Well well well, looks like there's a case for taking 32 outta the rafters and putting up 40 in its place. Sean was a better scorer, slightly better rebounder, and worse passer. Willie was also 6'7" 190 lbs., so it's a miracle that he's even alive, let alone playing in the NBA. That's gotta count for something, right?

Willie Anderson is closed because it can just be posted in the Avery Johnson thread.

This one isn't moved to The Club because I haven't been online much at all today.

It's moved now if it makes you feel any better.

Ever heard of Sean Livingston? Tons of guys are 6'7" 190 lbs, just not in the League.

The problem is that Anderson's numbers go down with each succeeding year past his rookie year (as the team is getting better), while Elliott's go up.

But I loved Willie in his early years.
