Although I don't really love the "First Four". I think we could do without it.

Another year, another overrated Gonzaga team.

Yeah I don't think their guard play is good enough to pick it up if Timme has a bad game w/o being double teamed. And we all saw last year that having just one athletic n!ggerbeast is enough to slow him down (Baylor had a rotation of them) even if they're not that skilled. Wouldn't be surprised to see them get bounced by Memphis imo just a bad matchup for them

Next stage:

A bracket of 128.
Invite some of the really good DII and DIII teams.
Maybe some invitations to the NAIA.
Even some really good AAU teams.

They need to get back down to 32 imo.
And do a better job of not selecting all these power V teams.
Forget the damn conference tournaments and get some more regular season games between the worthy power V teams and the other really good teams outside of the powerV. The regular season within your conference should mean more. Taking over half of the Big 12 that has 10 teams... just no...

It will stay 64 imo
No worries.

That they keep sneaking in more play in games can get out of control. It seems they keep upping this.
In any event, there is no way imo the tourney gets reduced. Personally I want regular season loses to hurt much more like in football.
But of course in basketball they play many more reg season games.

Texas Tech with the 2019 throwback, 'look like the best team in the country for a night' goods which they do a few times a season. Don't see them coming anywhere close to repeating that offensive performance though imo due to the unusual amount of trapping Montana St was doing leading to wide open threes left and right. Just hope they can send Coach K and those sissy cucks from Duke packing and I'll call this season a success. They'll be playing with house money after that tbh

Texas did a good job of shutting down the VTech 3s This was the game imo. Cut off VTech's lifeblood.
But Texas did try to make it close with the fouling and turnovers when VTech put the press on in the 2nd half.

Also the transfer PG from Minn for Texas had a really good 2nd half besides a few really dumb fouls.
I will give the staff credit for getting him to settle down 2nd half but Im not really sure if VTech put more attention on Ramey who had kept Texas scoring the first half. I will also assume the staff had them running VTech off the 3 line although I dont know for sure if this was the plan.

Definitely did not have the long period of time without being able to score that has proven so costly in other games. But they still look shaky when pressured.

yeah Gonzaga is a bad matchup for Tech tbh. They need a lane clogger like Odiase in order to slow down Timme 1 on 1. IMO, they probably will shut him down by doubling as is but Gonzaga has the three point shooters to make them pay. That's pretty much what happened the first time they met

Excellent steal and block by the Center.

Final turn by Irish, moron Techie guards and SF all 3 pursue driving guard to the paint even tho ahead by 5 with clock winding. Leave two 3 point shooters WIDE open. Lucky the pass went right between them for the turn.

Yeah you'd think this team would've learned after what happened against UVA a few years ago.

tbh I don't understand why Notre Dame went away from that one honkie who was killing us in penetration. He would either get a layup or find the wide open shooter, but instead inside two minutes they call plays for a freshman who blew the game. I thought Brey outcoached Adams for the most part but that was a coaching choke job on his part at the end by abandoning a gameplan that was working.

Speaking of, I am becoming more convinced that Mark Adams and his wife are secretly into cuckoldry and that Terrence Shannon was their former Bull who's fallen out of favor. I can't think of any other rational explanation on why he's in the doghouse. He comes in for two minutes, gets maybe one look, then he's subbed out for five minutes. How can anybody get in a rhythm like that? For supposedly being our most talented player, he's not getting much of a chance IMO

But ya that half court bump n strip i thought for sure AZ handed TCU the game winner.

I feel like Duke is a good matchup in terms of playing style, height etc. it’s just that they might “out-talent” us like they did with the Zion team that we actually schemed great against

Gonzaga is a different story. We’re at a huge height disadvantage down low and I don’t see those two honkies in Timme/Chet choking like f@ggots like the

4 point deficit. Dukies fortunate. Raiders are defending well especially at the Wing.

Stop this shit.
You are such a downer.

This is a team from Lubbock who has had great success in this tournament lately, why should they lose.
This is not new or unbelievable anymore.
This is a good team.

Great game FrostKing. In the remaining field, not sure who’s beating Duke when they shoot like they did in the 2nd half tbh. They have the feel of a typical Calipari team. Young talented team whose inconsistent throughout the season but peaks in March

Thank you buddy, it was a great high quality played game. Back and forth with surprises.

I haven't watched Arkansas. Was running errands during the Gonzaga game. Duke has lost the past 2-Elite 8's. Funny thing is those Blue Devils were superior teams but so was the opponent '18 Kansas and '19 MSU. Or atleast I'm going by paper comparison.

I do agree and think Duke should be slight overall favorites now. Wish the game was on Sunday, I'm heading to an all day music festival tomorrow. I'm not sure how much I'll be able to catch. But I feel more comfortable playing Arkansas than I did Texas Tech. Maybe some of that is seeing the team win a 2nd straight grueling battle. Well done Red Raiders.

Their second half against Gonzaga was all I've seen from them this year. They're athletic and play with a chip on their shoulder, so they're definitely dangerous but Duke SHOULD win this one with the way they've been closing out the last two games against MSU and Texas Tech. tbh that game felt more like Gonzaga choking and missing wide open threes, then Arkansas playing particularly well. And Holmgren being in foul trouble. Nobody outside of Timme could buy a bucket. It was not a particularly good game to watch imo

But the bigger the stakes the bigger the booty. I feel confident the Dukies will advance.

Wow what a game. That's how you want to go out. No matter the result reaching Final Four is extra special. What the '18 and '19 teams deserved.

Now the negative. Always knew playing rival in Tournament was high stakes. Ala Maryland in 2001. Last night we lost.

In a nail biter a few of the Dukies had their worst performance of the Tourney. Some credit to UNC's guards. On the flip side felt UNC performed up to their potential. That will be a difficult pill for the players to swallow.
