Iggy coming off the bench with the scrubs. Hopefully pop doesn’t offer him a contract.

NOLA lost. We need to lose this one to stay behind the Wizards and have the Dubs staying in front of Boston

Where would Primo be drafted this year? 12th over or under?

What kind of college year would he have had?

He'd be lucky to go in the first round. Late first, IMO.

On the Spurs broadcast Sean was talking about how large Primo is in real life and said he is definitely taller than 6'5".

No, he'd be coming from college, where he'd likely have a very good year.

Well, that's the thing, you're basing your opinion on him having a very good year in college, and I see no reason to assume he'd be better than the guys picked in the top 20

You can tell Primo has fixed his feet on his shots. He's no longer favoring one leg when he shoots/lands.

I saw him live the other night from the floor, I thought he looked lanky as hell. He just looked flat out long as hell.

Throwing this game is going to go against every fiber of Pop's being, but he really needs to do it.

Time for the Wieskamp chuck fest and hope he goes 2-7 or so.

He looks taller than Weiskamp and about the same as Kuminga

Seventyniner

For once I hope Draymond's pep talk actually works.

Fouling the Warriors "on accident" a bunch of times is a good way to stealth tank the game though. Just be hyper-aggressive on every contest.

Can Pop challenge that foul that puts Primo on the line?

RC_Drunkford
04-09-2022, 09:46 PM
man I'ma keep saying it. This Spurs team is starting to look like one of the classic Spurs teams that we are used to. No matter who plays, they play hard and keep it close

let's hope he keeps growing until he's 6'8'' that would fix the PF problem immediately

There's a reason the Spurs have a positive point differential even while being 12 games under .500.

Primo was 'only' 6'4" without shoes at the 2021 draft combine. Which is about 6'5" in the old NBA heights.

However to me he does seem bigger than that, especially when he stands next to other wings. But I can't imagine he has grown more than an inch in the space of a year at 19 years of age.

Seventyniner
04-09-2022, 09:52 PM
Why challenge that call if you don't want to win? That was the perfect chance to just shut up and give the Warriors 2 FTs and a 6 point lead with 20 seconds left.

He'd still be a guard/wing really.

Because Pop isn't actually tanking. He's resting player and wants to win this with who he has.

Has Pop ever been in a position before where he really needs to lose a game? He has rested players before when he doesn't care about winning, but to me that's not the same thing.

He does have Wieskamp and Cacok on the floor with the game on the line so that's about the most we can hope for.

RC_Drunkford

Perfect L. Team played hard, kept it close and came up with the loss. Do the same against Dallas and we're good.

It's like when he'd pull the starters against the Heatles. He still wants to win the game, but wants the bench and deep bench learn how to play against talent.

Good loss. Spurs should lose tomorrow against Dallas who will be playing to win given they have a small chance to get the preferable 3 seed over the 4 seed. However a few other dominos have now been set of, the Warriors need to lose tomorrow agains the Pelicans and the Mavs beat the Spurs for the Mavs to get that 3 seed. Now that the Pels are locked into the 9 spot they will likely sit their main guys tomorrow so the Warriors should have an easy W which means they get the 3 seed and Dallas ends up 4.

In regards to the Spurs, getting the 9th worst record while still making the play in is pretty good. They can win the 9 v 10 matchup against the Pels and lose the next play-in game and still have the 9th spot in the lottery order.

Why did the warriors rest everybody? Did they want the 4 seed? Frankly I’m confused about that

I thought they only rested Klay? I assumed it was because they thought beating us while we were resting all our starters would be easier than winning tomorrow and they aren't playing klay on back to backs..

I forgot that Curry was hurt. I saw them rest Klay and then saw Curry was out and made the assumption the rested him too. Still hope that Dallas gets that 3 seed bc I can’t get over the Zaza bullshit that set our franchise back a decade

Hoping GSW will eventually get Memphis, that should be interesting
