I don't think them beating the Heat/Celtics would be a foregone conclusion but they certainly are the favorite right now, imo

Anybody but the Celtics.

Miami has the defenders to harass Steph so I’d take Miami in that series. I feel like there’s a weird softness to Boston’s top 2 guys that makes me not believe in them enough to win a title.

Damn right, Cub. It's a 17-17 now and I'll be damned if they get one up on us again :lol

It’s pretty gross that Kevin Durant being so mentally soft and picking Golden State still has ramifications to this day. If KD doesn’t sign, the Warriors can’t then sign & trade him for D’Angelo Russell, and then flip DLo for Wiggins. No Wiggins, no chance they’re going to the Finals this year.

And yet even with all that, they still evaluated talent 1000000000000x better than the Mavericks the last 3 years.

i like the celtics' chances of beating the warriors more than the heat's. the celtics can score

Yes, but Boston has by far a better chance of challenging the Warriors than Miami does. Miami lacks a legit superstar and their offense is nothing special.

Changing your tune now?

Indeed, I don't need 'em anymore. Dallas saw to that, thank Christ. Suns couldn't handle the gaffe and got hammered like trout meat.

Though I'd be curious to watch the aftermath if they were to garner their 18th. Sure as hell there'd be an immediate renewal of their history with the Lakers; nothing like when the Lakers tied them at 17 two years ago. All was forgotten then, nary mention made of it, like it never happened. Funny how that works the same as it always did.

At each of their best I think Miami and Boston are on par with Golden State but too inconsistent IMO

Agreed, Boston matches up well but they are inconsistent

Would pay to see Warriors beaten and one by one all 5 players on the floor for the opponent walk by Stephina and do his sleep taunt.

Boston's getting all the breaks the Suns got last season on their way to the Finals.

They swept an extremely overrated Nets team, the Bucks without their second leading scorer and the Heat, Butler is playing injured at this point, Lowry is 36 and coming back early from an hamstring injury, with Herro missing games as well.

GS is a deeper team, with better shooting and defense. Boston will finally face a better team than them.

Probably. Celtics are too green (no pun intended) and the Heat look like garbage

I want the Celtics to win but it’s gonna be the warriors. In fact it’s not even a given Celtics would make the finals.

Their top 2 guys just don't seem good enough to be the top 2 guys in a championship team.

I haven't seen enough from Tatum to make me think he's a world beater. Al Horford is too spotty.
