On DL Hunter Osborne...IT saying it's down to Tennessee vs. Texas and his decision timeline has been August around his first game of the year.
They believe that could change and be a quicker decision.

He mentioned the momentum Texas has right now has been difficult to ignore.

IT wrote today that Texas wants all four of DE/LB Braylan Shelby, DE Colton Vasek, DL Hunter Osborne and DL Jamarious Brown.
There were some questions that there might be overlap or too many scholarships needed, but doesn't appear to be the case.

I love all the top recruits we are getting up front. I will continue to believe that we go as our OL goes. For the last several years, our OL has been Swiss cheese. This caused our offense to be inconsistent and struggle throughout large portions of games. It seems like now we are getting the talent and depth we need to compete up front. If the OL plays up to, or even close to, its potential, we will have a great year and a great record.

i think UT switching over to the SEC, landing the big fish in Manning, and then the fact that other colleges are all in on NIL has a lot to do with it. it also doesn't help that there is a big push, culturally and academically speaking, to take A&M back to its more conservative roots (by alumni groups such as The Rudder Association). College Station will never be able to outbid the likes of Austin, Miami, SoCal, Athens and so on. the only way A&M can stay in it is if they outbid others and win.

well, i don't even know what illegal is anymore. austin is definitely a better city to live in for a young person even if it's become a gentrified and synthetic shell of its former self. but compared to college station, any city is paradise. money can only go so far though, as evidenced by the mass exodus of players in the transfer portal and some significant decommitments.

There were over 100 recruits from various high schools around the country. 24s and 25s Brought in by Saban.
That game definitely did not hurt as we are after some of the same kids, most notably a QB from Alabama who has pledged to Texas.
Maybe Dominick McKinely rethinks his Aggie decision after watching our Dline and Aggie today. He’s a small town kid so it could be tough. I think he is still talking to our coaches.
