Growing up scientists were saying ICE AGE was coming then the world was going to end because of ACID RAIN and then it it changed to GLOBAL WARMING and now they been wrong so much they just created GLOBAL WEATHER. It has all ready been proven you could make America 100% green and it would not change the Global Temperature.

To me I think the more critical thing to focus on is Water we really need to look out creating massive Salt Water distillers and get a handle on Cloud Seeding. I am also all for helping cleaning up all the rivers and lakes in US and helping cleaning the Ocean. I think money spent on that would help much more people then getting everyone to drive an electric car

Solar energy is cheap, and we have batteries now, haven't you heard?Too bad Trump wants to award this tech to China, don't you think?Solar does more damage to the environment as you have to mine for all the minerals it takes to build the batteries and solar cells. Also the battery technology though has gotten much better it is still light years away from being counted on to be the main support for electric companies. If you really want to go Green then should support Nuclear Energy as that will allow you to support a lot of base load and once you pay it off it is still the cheapest energy.

In what is possibly another sign of climate change, mosquitoes have landed in Iceland for the first time. For many years, the island was the only Arctic country that could claim to be mosquito-free. But that all changed in 2025, when three Culiseta annulata specimens were discovered in a garden in Kjós, just north of the capital Reykjavík.https://phys.org/news/2026-04-mosquitoes-iceland-arctic.html

More than 61% of the Lower 48 states is in moderate to exceptional drought — including 97% of the Southeast and two-thirds of the West — according to the U.S. Drought Monitor. It’s the highest levels for this time of year since the drought monitor began in 2000.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s comprehensive Palmer Drought Severity Index not only hit its highest level for March since records started in 1895, but last month was the third-driest month recorded regardless of time of year. It trailed only the famed Dust Bowl months of July and August 1934.
