I have not been able to watch the past few games. They haven't been on where I've been :pctoss

I just look at box scores and try to catch highlights, but those suck. Has parker slowed down or have defenses been focusing on him more?

Thanks.

The Chicago game, it was the D on him.

The Laker game, he just didn't play well. TD and TP were putting on a turnover clinic ..especially in the first half.

Those young fast ass guards gave parker trouble? Who was guarding him most in the Chicago game?

He just plain suck okay

i wouldnt go that far but he is a bit of a one trick pony in which if you pack the lanes he's pretty much useless as he's not much of a playmaker or a shooter cuz a lot of times he over penetrates

Yeah Billups was able to contain because of being strong and backing off Parker a little so it would be hard for him to get by Billups. If Parker gets better at that mid range shot he should be tough to defend. He should learn from Terry and make them pay for that coverage.

He's trying to stay healthy and play good. Saving the extra for when it's needed. We don't need to overdrive our players till the playoffs and key games.

Fortunately, ALL STARS are less about talent and more about name recognition. And everyone knows him via Eva Longoria. So he's still got a decent enough shot.

Parker is at his best when he pushes the ball and penetrates to the rim or when he takes his tear drop shot. He sucks at taking jump shots past 10 feet..... PERIOD!! Every time he takes a jump shot it's "clank" "dud" or a brick. HE SUCKS AT TAKING JUMPERS PERIOD. I scream at him thru the T.V. every time I see him take a jump shot outside 10 feet. If I was pop, I'd sit his ass down every time he took that ugly ass jumper. He should stick to what he does best. The thing is, when he takes that jumper, he has a wide ass open lane for him to slash to the basket every time. Teams are daring him to take it, and he does, and it's a miss. I usually say he was lucky when one finally does go in. Tony should take it to the rim every time, he'll have better success at scoring, and get more of the true jump shot shooters involved. I thought his role was the point, not the "off guard". Practice that jumper in practice, not in game situations. I just know I'll be screaming at your ass tonight.

when they see him pull up i'm sure it looks like there is a lane, but once he made his move i guarantee it would be closed. closing the lane gives him the open j, they can't do both at the same time.

He's at his best taking it to the rim. He's quick off the dribble and his tear drop is more effective than his jumper when they close the lane.

We don't need to talk about what he's best at overall, I'd rather people give me info about what schemes gave him trouble, who guarded him the most, is he still using the jumpshot as a last resort, that kinda thing.

you can't shoot a teardrop from outside a closed lane.
faded, he has just looked reluctant to take it inside as much when they close the lane, like vs chicago. but against LA he took it inside a few times and made some horrible turnover passes. my guess is he'll have a good game tonight. terry doesn't play much d and devin harris can't stay with him. let's just hope he plays well on d himself.

Devin Herris might give him trouble, that guy's speed amazed me in the first meeting with Dallas this season.

Tony Parker's an all-star point guard to the people that post @ fullsportpress. To the rest of the world and to anyone with a positive IQ, he's a slightly-better-than-average point guard that can get you 30 points and dish out 8 assists for five straight games and then play like he's still in high school for the next three weeks.

Nothing more, nothing less
