Pete Carroll did the right thing but it was honestly too late. He should have kept drafting QBs instead of blowing picks on old oft injured guys like Jimmy Graham and Percy Harvin to make Struggle happy.

He should have treated his Legion of Boom with more respect and attention and kept drafting to replenish and stock up the defense and realized that that was the strength of the team. Also building on the offensive line with mean guys who could win up front and run block, acknowledging that Struggle is and always was a bus driver that could be replaced pretty easily at the end of his rookie contract if he wanted to get paid.

Also it was such a fucking farce that Struggle's "...because you've got to go through us, Go Hawks..." was the feature of the Seahawks' Super Bowl presentation instead of Chancellor/Thomas/Sherman/Wagner etc.

Bills have given up 7 points in the 2nd half this year, and that came on that 3rd and 22 pass to Waddle in the Miami game when both starting outside corners and our 2 AP safeties missed the game.

Today they were without 2 DTs, starting MLB, and 3/4 secondary starters. Since the Bye is Week 7, I’d sit all the banged up players again next week against KC and see what the young bucks are made of. I expect to have nearly a fully healthy roster for our Week 8 home game against the Pack

Coaches should get one challenge for calls as well. Only way to make sure that stripes don't go fully Joey West/Angel Hernandez and take over the game.

Lets get a thread compilation going.

FFS just saw the Chiefs defender do a strip and grab the ball. He gets wrung up for Roughing the Brady / Josh Allen as David Carr falls to the ground and he falls on him.
AFTER the strip.

And just now Mahomes gets tackled exactly the same way Brady did and no flag. This same crew just called roughing the passer for a strip-sack on Carr in the first half. They can't even call it constistently.

They tried for one year with PI's and it didn't change anything. Refs just kept their awfull original calls and the NFL scratched PI challenges.

Why go for two? Force the Raiders to go for the TD and convertion if they want to tie it.

lefty20

I get the comfort of having a two possession game, but a conversion isn't exactly a gimme either.

DAF86
10-10-2022, 10:06 PM
As soon as the Chiefs missed that 2 pts convertion, I knew McDaniels was going to go for the 2 pts as well to try and send a message, but it is a retarded move too. The only thing you gain if you get it is the Chiefs and Mahomes playing more agressive and getting 4 downs every try.

Same ol Chiefs of always, tbh. I never understood all this talk about the best O-line in the game and improved defense. Both still mid as fuck. This team will get as far as Mahomes and Kelce take them, tbh.

I’ll be the first to concede that Rush is not the answer, but there’s no way anybody can tell me Cuckott is the better QB (atleast not when the game is on the line, we all know Cuckott is the garbage time GOAT). To me they are about equal but the team lately actually has “grit”
about them. I don’t want Cuckott’s stench anywhere near the team. As soon as he comes back, there’s no doubt his fake, chest beating personality will turn the team back into the soft front runners they’ve always been tbh imho

I think it depends. If Moore instantly reverts back to throwing 40-50 times a game, they are screwed. If they stay balanced and take advantage of the opportunities the defense provides them, great.

MultiTroll

Sure sure it's just a coincidence.

There's a reason most fans have never seen a defensive holding penalty on a field goal and that's because it's a call that rarely gets made. Before Monday night, the last time any team in the NFL got flagged for it came in 2015, according to the Associated Press (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8ApTCy8kuU). The twist here is that the last team to get flagged for it was also the Raiders and the referee in that 2015 game was the same referee from Monday night: Carl Cheffers.
