Was watching the Pels Vs. Pistons affair a couple of days ago. Commentators mentioned that Alvarado had been working with Tony Parker in the Off season. He was an absolute menace in that game and looks to have improved his outside shot considerably.

I think this Pels team could make quite a bit of noise this year. Their depth is almost unparalleled.

Zollins seems worse than I thought, at least this season so far. Are we stuck with him? He’s definitely not doing himself any favors.

Dieng, better than I thought. In fact, I remember liking him here the first time. He’s not objectively good, let’s be honest, but he doesn’t get pushed around, has size, and a sweet looking jumper still, and is our true veteran, which is good for our young team. For this tanking season, I think he’s perfect: sets solid screens, is composed, and has at least one credible offensive skill.

Also, Kuhse (?) is such a great tank closer. Bring him in and the deficit just skyrockets.

Dom Barlow looked so fluid in his moves.

McBuckets just might be fun this year, which I’m shocked to admit. This game it seemed like he realized he can play loose like its a pick up game with no pressure. It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s our second leading scorer this year.

Quick thoughts:

-KBD had a Derrick White type game where his confidence was shot. Shook his head after every miss and pitied himself throughout the game. Terrible demeanor that needs to improve.
-Tre is one of those players where their skill ceiling is shining through and it’s not very high. He’s great with finishing and perhaps he should do that more. But right now he reminds me of Facundo Cumpazzo who does not make much of an impact outside of heady plays and occasional scoring.
-Blake should have way more assists as he had great finds throughout the game. Too bad his teammates missed them.
-I expect Dominick to have more terrible nights than great ones like last night. But he really is a physical specimen. The way he moves out there with his size is special. Hope it can be harnessed.
-Sochan did a good job containing Zion
-JRich said it best in the post game interview that Malaki moves on the court like a vet already
-Collins continues to look like trash because he’s playing too sefish

Yeah I didn't see much more of that game, switched over from LV/KC. But Jock poked away on the defensive end, came up with the steal and hit the open streaker who lobbed it back to a cutting Jock who slammed it down to tie the game under 2m in the 4th. Huge heads up play and finish that gave his team a chance to win late which they did not do. But his teammates were hyping him up after that. Huge stuff.
