Vassell is a good example of what a prospect looks like when you buy into the system as a Spurs prospect. He spent 2 seasons playing under control and with purpose. Maybe even stifled and stiff at times. Now he’s seeing the part of the game where things slow down a bit and he can open up. He looks loose, smooth and under control with those early reigns coming off and that’s allowed him to play a game where the inherent mindset built on that disciple benefits his skill set rather than holds him back.

Really nice seeing his game hit this point and he’s still young with room to grow.
